Heroine, Pride of the Country

Ri Kyong Sim, traffic control girl belonging to the traffic control Center under the Pyongyang City People's Security Bureau, was awarded the title of Hero of the Republic, the highest honor of a citizen of the Republic.

Infinitely faithful to the Party and the leader, she carried out her duty to the best of her ability, contributing to the traffic safety in the capital city; she is a laudable traffic officer and a true daughter of the Party , who at an unexpected moment displayed a heroic self-sacrificing spirit of defending the leader and secured the safety of the brains of our revolution.

She is 22 years old, recruited on April 30, 2008.

Still young as she is, she has become a shining example for all our army men and the people.

All the streets crisscrossing the capital city are permeated with the sweat of the devoted service of the traffic controllers.

Rain or shine, they stand at their posts.

Heroine Ri would often give a lively expression to the rain, snow and street lights , calling them "sweet rain, sweat now and sweet lights".

One day, it was raining cats and dogs. Immediately after shift of her duty, she was rushing somewhere through the rain.

"Where are you going?" yelled a pall of hers.

"A car pulled up there!" came a reply. Sensing what it meant, the girl ran up to Ri. She saw Ri helping the driver to fix the car, holding a spanner in her hand. It was late autumn and raining hard. Shivering from cold in the rain, Ri stood still there till the car started the engine again. Smiling she said goodbye to the driver.

She is always aware that defending the safety of the brains of revolution is the way that promises well for the welfare and future of the country and the happiness and security of the people.

She pledges to herself, "I'll stand at my post as firm as ever, like a shield protecting the leader of revolution and safety of my dear people."

Ri Kyong Sim, now hero of the Republic, still stands at her post on a crossroad of the capital city.

She is always aware that defending the safety of the brains of revolution is the way that promises well for the welfare and future of the country and the happiness and security of the people.

The hostess of Chongwadae made a trip of the United States a few days ago. But she received a cold reception at the airport.

Even a single official of the U.S. side was not seen at the airport. She was met only by the south Korean ambassador to that country and a few officials staying there. It is, indeed, a disgrace to her who is called "President".

It is a universal practice in the United States that administration officials meet their foreign counterparts on an official or unofficial visit. However, the U.S. side failed to send lower-level officials to welcome the executive of south Korea. It was the "first foreign trip" she made after her assumption of office. So she crossed the ocean with a great expectation.

Before the junket, she had made every possible effort to curry favor with her master, talking about "build-up of close cooperative relations" and "boost of comprehensive strategic alliance onto a stage higher". However, the attitude of the United States was so cool.

The hostess was sorry but there was no alternative. Those with no sovereignty are bound to receive such cold shoulder.

Unpardonable Challenge of Hostile Forces



The United States and south Korean puppets are hell bent on war gambles against the north even after the Foal Eagle joint military exercises. This verifies that correct is our determination to put an end to their hostile acts against our Republic once and for all and to achieve the final victory in the war for national reunification.

The present all-out confrontation is a showdown to counter the aggressive moves of the U.S. imperialists infringing upon the dignity and sovereignty of the Korean nation with a sacred war for national reunification.

The United States has outrageously encroached on the sovereignty of the Korean nation and violated its dignity. Since its occupation of south Korea, U.S. imperialism has divided our homogeneous nation into two and enforced colonial fascist dictatorship in south Korea for nearly 7 decades. Not content with this, the United States is making desperate efforts to invade us.

The history and present reality eloquently prove that only when we wage a sacred war for national reunification against imperialism, can we put a period to the high-handed aggressive moves of the aggressors and defend the dignity and sovereignty of the nation.

The all-out action is a war for mercilessly punishing the dirty sycophantic traitors, confrontation maniacs and all other human scum, which are parasitic within the nation.

Today the north-south relations have been plunged into the worst catastrophe and the situation on the Korean peninsula has been brought to the brink of nuclear war. It is entirely due to the puppets that are engaged in the moves to start a war of aggression against the north, thinking that everything goes right if they are backed by the United States. As long as there are shabby traitors to the nation in south Korea, the United States will continue its policy of aggression against the north and our fellow countrymen cannot get rid of the danger of nuclear war forced by outsiders.

The sacred war for national reunification is a nation-wide resistance of all the fellow countrymen in the north, south and overseas.

In the do-or-die resistance, which decides whether the sovereignty of the nation is safeguarded or whether the dignity of the nation is totally trampled down by foreign forces, every member of the nation cannot remain as an onlooker. Those who love the country and are concerned about the destiny of the nation should turn out in the nation-wide resistance irrespective of class, strata, political view and difference in religious belief.

The United States trying to impose a lot of slave on our nation and the traitors following it are the foes common to the nation that must be punished mercilessly.

Trip Accompanied with Sexual Immorality



During the recent junket of the south Korean chief executive to the United States, a sexual immortality was committed by Yun Chang Jung, chief spokesman for Chongwadae accompanying her.

While a feast at a hotel, Yun committed the misconduct with a woman there. He was investigated by the U.S. police. For his misconduct, the mistress of Chongwadae could not visit her United States any longer.

As for Yun, he was an object of criticism for his disorderly career when he was appointed. However, she promoted him.

His sexual scandal disclosed the naked south Korea before the eyes of the world.

She swaggered while speaking at the Congress. But her visit to the U.S. which depreciated the national prestige should be called sexual trip.She dismissed him on the spot and hurriedly came back to Seoul.

I am sure most everyone is done with this, I still tend to think they are waiting till after the planting season for any provocations, but they have also changed out the commanders in 3 of their front line Army divisions in the last 2 months, with younger (50ish) generals.

Anyway, today's 5oclock charlie segment is about Mr Helen Thomas, former white house press corps member. (bet you thought he was a she, alas NK is so much smarter than all of us!)

Mockery of Press



Greeting World Press Freedom Day, Kerry, U.S. secretary of state called on all countries of the world to provide pressmen with "freedom of report".

What a ridiculous sophistry.

"Freedom of report" in the U.S. is infringed upon without any ground under the pretext of "national security".

In 2006 the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and other media gave wide publicity to the U.S. Administration's "counter-terrorist war" as unjustifiable.

At this the U.S. authorities got enraged, saying such report activities of the press organs plunged the country into a very disgraceful status, did a very great harm to the U.S. interests and brought a greater difficulty to victory of "counter-terrorist war".

In April last year a reporter of U.S. news website "Politico" visited the DPRK in connection with its launch of globe observation satellite "Kwangmyongsong-3".

The reporter exposed that the White House said reports on the DPRK's launch of satellite is free propaganda for the DPRK and demanded news reporters not conspire with "Korea"s propaganda activities".

The U.S. pressmen are cripple reporters under gag law.

A vivid proof of it is an early retirement of Helen Thomas, one of a few White House reporters.

Requested by his colleague to comment on the Israel issue, he said Israel should withdraw from Palestine, an occupied territory.

There was nothing wrong in his remark.

But, unable to bear down the repeated pressure of the U.S. authorities siding with Israel, Thomas made public a statement of "apology" and made the last parting with his job.

Media in the U.S. distort the truth and mislead the public opinion to curry favor with power.

That is freedom of speech and report called for by the U.S.

Nuclear Blackmail Never to Be Condoned



Now the DPRK and the U.S. stand face to face against each other. This is a nuke-to-nuke confrontation, the first of its kind in the world. As a result the Korean Peninsula has become a scene where the U.S. tries to augment its faculty for nuclear warfare, a scene for the U.S. to test its ultra modern weapons of mass destruction.

The U.S. nuclear blackmail itself is a mockery of our army and the people.

It is a biggest adventure for the enemy to have a test on our mental faculty.

Recently the U.S. egged on its south Korean puppets to stage one military exercise after another in the waters off the Korean Peninsula. On the plausible excuse of joint military exercises the U.S. has deployed a huge amount of arms and effectives in the East Sea of Korea. Considering the time spent for the deployment, it is really something we can never overlook.

What the U.S. is after behind all these maneuvers? It is a war, no doubt.

A 97 000-ton class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Nimitz left San Diego.

On April 19, it entered its destination, the operational waters of the 7th Fleet on May 3 and anchored at Pusan port on May 11. Its route of sail being open, it was very likely to be sunken on its voyage. {uh, ok, have a shot at sinking it}By its formidability, the U.S. tried to give us the jitters. But it is only a wishful thinking. The U.S. after amassing a big amount of war tools seemed much complacent. Sarcastic voices came immediately from both U.S. and south Korean political circles to the effect that North Korea's provocation intensity seemed to subside, coming down.

The U.S. military intention is very obvious.

As everyone knows, the U.S. forced the UNSC to adopt a "resolution of sanction" on us to put a legal garb on its planned attempt for an attack on our Republic and its ensuing war exercises held to start a war. It was indeed the worst ever known military exercises whose real aim was to rob us of our nukes.

Now, Washington focuses on its Korean policy, to attack and seize us under its clutches.

The U.S. has got mobilized all its naval strength, watching for a chance of a preemptive attack. So we too have to stand face to face with the U.S. This is the very situation of Korea, today. The nuclear war danger keeps waxing here because of the frantic war efforts of the U.S.

Let the nuke be ever so powerful, it must find itself otherwise before its enemy who is also nuke owner. That's how all its military exercises failed to go over to a war, remaining what they used to be.

The U.S. set in motion the bulk of its war tools, but the bigger the target, the easier to destroy. The U.S. also tries to detect the maneuver of our missiles, but even satellite observation apparatuses, too, will find it difficult to do the job, because now all our missiles are self-propelled. How hard as it may try, they will not succeed. It will be as difficult as to look for a needle in a bundle of hay.

Apparently, the U.S. pins a great hope on U.S.-Japan-south Korea military alliance. But Japan and south Korea under the U.S. nuclear umbrella can never be our match in the U.S. war game.

We think the U.S. is our only match in a nuclear war. Come and have a try if you want. We won't evade the U.S. challenge to nuclear war.

Remember, all our missiles will be fired with a push-button ease; and their first target is the U.S. {oooh scary}
