Ryan just can't turn a new Leaf

Stealing drugs?! I thought he had a solid collegiate coaching career (football and golf) not to mention millions of dollars in bonus money from his rookie contract.
Drugs truly are the devil.

Didn't sound like this was related to money so much as addiction. He didn't try and steal the guy's TV right? He was there for the Hydrocodon.

Addiction to legal painkillers is a serious problem in this country. Let's hope Ryan gets himself straightened up. I think it's easy to pile on here and make jokes, especially given what an asshole he was in the past, but it's sad to see someone who had appeared to have really stabilized his life veer so far of course.

I just used hydrocodon for some dental work I had done. It took the edge off the pain but didn't totally eliminate it not last until the next dosage. You must have to take a handfull of these to get any buzz....which I won't try.

When you have ACTUAL pain, it dulls it, or eliminates it. When you don't and take the pills, then it causes an addictive state. Yes, the more you take, the better the "buzz", even worse, when you mix it with other drugs, especially alcohol, the effect is intensified. It is VERY easy to get addicted.

It's called bashing fatigue. He's been a joke for years.

As for the addiction, I'm not one to bash, I never did back in the day when Dexter Manley fell victim, over and over again.
