His best shot's in Canada, no NFL team is willing to take the PR hit..... except the Raiders

The dog fighting thing isn't the only issue here. Does no one remember him flipping off fans? How about the Ron Mexico incident? Or the failed drug test? This guy is a cancer and that doesn't take into account the dog fighting thing (which I detest with every fiber of my being).

So, in other words, F... NO!

agreed this guy is a jerk and he will always be a jerk.prison has probably made him worse we do not need that kind of guy on our team

Vick will not be going to Canada. Canada can and will refuse entry to U.S. citizens who are felons. I also believe there may be a law prohibiting the employment of felons in Canada.

Michael Vick Cops Felony Plea - August 24, 2007 (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2007/0824071vick1.html)

These are Vick's court documents and some stuff that has been put out there about him is untrue and some are true. I refuse to get into a debate/argument about the situation. I just submitting the facts take it how you want to.

WHAT? That makes no sense. What Vick did was a FELONY! I can't stand Romanowski, but what he did was not a felony. To TRY to compare the two even farther...Romanowski lost his temper in the heat of a moment, Vick, knowingly and continually tortured dogs in such a fowl way that it would make most puke and haunt their memories forever. Sorry bud, there is about as much comparison here to the Skins vs 4 year old ballet students!
I will NEVER stop being a skins fan, but I do not want this guy not for what he did (he paid his debt) but because he is no good as a QB. No way his legs are as good as they were 2 years ago making him useless.

There really isn't a comparison, you are right about that. But it seems to me that you condone beating your wife, as long as it is in the heat of the moment? I can't torture a dog because...it's a felony...but I CAN put my wife in a hospital in the heat of the moment & that's ok, because it's not a felony? Not sure I'm getting the logic behind that. Like I said, priorities=backwards in this country. Less likely to protect each other & more likely fight each other for the rights of animals. Makes no sense.

Really? So if I live in Canada and commit a felony how would I make a living after I got released from prison? Commit another crime? :laughing2

Im really perplexed. Is this only for Americans trying to get work in Canada?

Domestic disputes are also very high. Violence in the home is a scary thing. I would never advocate the abuse of a spouse. However, I also start to lose patience the longer a person stays in a situation like that. If the words "He hit me" and "again" are in the same sentence -- you've lost my sympathy. Wife beaters DO NOT CHANGE. If he hits you once, get the **** out. You're a human with control and the ability to leave a situation. Perhaps a shelter isn't the ideal situation, but it gives you ability to get back on your feet and away from the asshole.

This paragraph screams to me that you have never dealt with this situation or even know someone who has been in an abusive relationship or been told by her abusive spouse, "if you leave, I'll kill you!" If you have no sympathy for a woman who is afraid for her life (& I have seen numerous film clips & read numerous newspaper articles & other stories where the estranged abusive husband returns & takes her life-check any number of Ann Rule books in your local library under "True Crime" section), then how am I supposed to have sympathy for a dog? Wife beaters are violent & they live to invoke fear into others, mainly their spouses & all too often, there are few places for a down-trodden woman to go where she can actually feel &/or be safe. And what if they have a kid together? You are trivializing something you clearly know little about.

The problem with dog fighting is this, the dogs have no say in the matter and Vick made a conscious decision to torture them. So not only do the animals not have the power to leave the situation, Vick also is killing them, brutally, on purpose. Are there worse things than dog fighting and the torture of animals? Absolutely, but that type of reasoning is dangerous. That's asking people to monopolize all their time, effort, and money on one issue. I am a huge animal lover, I currently have two cats, and my parents have 4 dogs. I just don't understand how someone could do that to something that gives you nothing but love, all the time.

I'm not saying that Vick SHOULDN'T have served time in jail, but that being the case, the wife beaters should serve MORE time then. What Vick did was disgusting, of this there is little doubt. But to trivialize one human being hurting another human being for any reason OTHER THAN self-defense & giving presedence to animals rights while people like Romanowski, Pittman, Julio Cesar Chavez & countless others still walk the streets without fear of prison...well, that's just silly.

Im not even counting what he did against him, as a player, better yet as a QB i was never impressed with him. He can run, thats it. He scares noone with his arm IMO.

He was the first QB to beat Green Bay in the playoffs at Lambeau Field & he did that with his arm for the most part. I'll bet he scares Packers fans. And despite everyone's disgust with the man, he had some fairly decent raw talent & could throw a pass farther then most on the field today. I believe he was once recorded throwing a 70 yard pass in the air...from his knees. Not so sure about the accuracy, but he could definitely launch the ball.

Hell the F-No! The guy was an overrated player. Let him get a real job and start living in reality for awhile.
