I am not worried about the dog-fighting - as you said he did his time now move on. But I don't want him here as a player. We have a QB, we have a WR/QB in ARE, and we have RBs so, what position does he fill here?
He may go somewhere else and shine, and that would be great, but he would not do much to improve us, that i can see.

Okay. Is JC in the last year of his contract? Is ARE a full time QB? I honestly think we should cut him if we could and it wouldn't cost us any money. He would play QB. He could sit for one season behind Campbell. Then at theend of the season he should be in shape or before then. I think he would improve us dramatically. Because he can throw the long ball and he is a threat to run. So it causes defense to respect our offense. I am rooting for JC but it would be nice to have Vick as a back up this season...But as far as what position he plays. QB. After he gets back in shape. If Jason doesn't do his thing. We have Vick getting and getting ready to play. By the end of the season or next season.

It's not an issue of humanizing animals, it's a fact that our society has become more educated about them, and that knowledge has, I believe, made us more compassionate. That's all. Nothing wrong with a society improving upon itself.

Yeah these people love animals more than humans. If they saw a bum on the street they probably would step over them. Social improvement? I love animals and I dont want to see them harmed. But if its a baby and a puppy about to fall of a bridge which one would you chose....How about this save a life of a child that is dieing somewhere in the world.

Just because people are appalled at what Vick did doesn't in anyway mean they think animals are more important than humans. With the exception of PETA.

Vick is NOT the answer. He can run with the ball but never did much as a passer. 2 min in the game,we have to drive 80yds for a td to win. Do you honestly want Vick under center? There are a few good QB's becoming FA's at the end of the season -Rivers-and the draft will have some good ones possibly coming out-Bradford-. If we change id rather go that route than Vick.

Nobody was arguing Vick is the greatest passer, even in his prime he was not known to be a great passer but other skills allowed him to excel. This thread is about him coming to skins, so were comparing him to Campbell and Colt. Even then hes not a good fit.

And yes i would rather have Vick under center with 2 min to go rather then Campbell, but no i don't want him with the skins.

Thats what im sayin, he isnt better than what we already have so there is no need to bring that baggage to D.C

he would be A) cheap, and B) a viable option at backup. not to mention a decoy for this new wildcat craze that seems to be sweeping the NFL. Plus, with the geographic convenience for him, he may be more likely to sign here. I am by no means saying he is the next QB messiah for us, but really, would it hurt anything?

All i have heard the entire offseason is how our players dont know the offense, now you want to add another offense just to get ONE player on the field??
Im just sayin we dont need gimmicks, we need to be proficient in the WCO before we even think of adding another set to our offense.
