I just saw that Amy Mickelson has breast cancer and Phil has left the tour indefinitely while they deal with this issue. Its sad to see a women so young with three young children have to deal with this and I whish them the best and a quick recovery.

Prayers are with the Michelson family. She seems like one incredible lady, and I hope she has a good enough diagnosis that Phil can play at Bethpage Black. The crowd will be even more behind him.

My gosh. How terrible. I'll never ever forget the day my parents told me my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. The Mickelson family has an amazing fight on their hands.

On a side note, a close friend of mine and my girlfriend was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma this past spring, and she has a running blog of her fight. She's doing well (50% of the way through her treatment, and the cancer is 50% destroyed), and her fight is an awesome one. She is a wonderful person, and her faith is definitely spearheading her battle. This is a great read for anyone who has the time to check it out:

Cancer is so effing depressing. It's ruined way too many lives. But for the people that beat it, I'm always so inspired by their stories. I wish your friend nothing but the best GM. I'll be bookmarking that blog and checking in now and then.

Thanks for checking out the blog Matty and Hog. Rachel's strength is pretty inspiring. When I start to bitch and complain about the little things in life, I try to think of her. Also, she's lucky to have her husband Joe. He's been so great.

LOL. That's funny. Yes, she's very attractive. You should see her when chemo isn't kicking her ass.
