GTripp, I am surprised you have Romo as the best qb in the division. I think he is highly overrated, and while his numbers impress, the loss of TO will really highlight his flaws. I would not be shocked for his INTS to skyrocket and his TD's plummet this year.

They could. Or if the Cowboys run the ball with Barber/Jones and set up the pass Romo may actually have a Pro Bowl season without TO. Hes still got enough weapons around him and with a new found get back to the running game attack I actually see his INTs going down while his TDs remain close to the same.

QB-Eagles/Giants/Cowboys/Redskins(Manning maybe the least talented, but has gotten it done for one post-season)
RB-Cowboys/Eagles/Redskins/Giants(Cowboys are the deepest and the Giants are last because I think that the real strength is the O-Line)
WR-Eagles/Redskins/Cowboys/Giants
TE-Cowboys/Redskins/Giants/Eagles
OL-Giants/Eagles/Cowboys/Redskins
DL-Giants/Redskins/Eagles/Cowboys
LB-Cowboys/Eagles/Giants/Redskins
CB-Eagles/Redskins/Cowboys/Giants
S-Redskins/Eagles/Giants/Cowboys
ST-Eagles/Cowboys/Giants/Redskins

These are ranking positions and do not for the most part equate into who is the best team and these will of course change as the season takes shape.
Each team has their share of question marks, but the division as a whole is the best in the league(from top to bottom).

Oh boy....did you just rank the Skins WR the top in the NFC east?
you are obviously not a redskins fan...nor have you watched them enough to realize our issues

Who in the division has fewer questions at the WR position than we do?

Here are the top 3 returning WR for each team in the division from last year:
NYG-Smith (57 catches), Hixon (43 catches), Moss (12 catches) total 5 TD
Philly-Jackson (62 catches), Curtis (33 catches), Baskett (33 catches) total 7 TD
Dallas-Crayton (39 catches), R. Williams (19 catches), Austin (13 catches) total 8 TD
Wash-Moss (79 catches), Randle-El (53 catches), Thomas (15 catches) total 10 TD

NYG and Dallas are replacing their #1 WR (NYG is replacing #1 and #2) and the NYG and Eagles are counting on rookie WR to come in immediately and contribute. To me it's not really even close.

Who in the division has fewer questions at the WR position than we do? Fewer questions? Everyone. Our weakness at WR is not that we don't have skilled players at the position, it's that we have no idea where we can expect the production to come from this year.

I understand your reasoning and it could be spot on. The only question I have is do you think Maclin can play the slot? With DeSean Jackson playing well last year and Curtis now healthy putting Maclin in the slot makes each player more explosive on offense. I dont think it will be too hard for Maclin to come in and play the slot WR role and make a impact.

Pretty solid rankings for a Eagle fan. :)

Gtripp and Paintrain's rankings were also well thought out and very nice imo.

I honestly think Romo is far and away a better QB than Eli Manning. If you put Romo on that Giants team that year they win the SB and actually score more points. Last year I think Romo also played better than Eli.
according to you Romo played with a better team anyway last year and couldn't win a thing yet I suppose to believe he could turn the Giants around................................ahhh no!Time and time again Romo has been in presure situations and choke ....his QB ranking means squat. Can he win a big game, can he put a team on his back,McNabb has done it,Eli has done it and I believe Campbell can do it,Romo .....nope.

I disagree , your wideouts were fine last year till your O line ...well got desimated and couldn't protect the QB.That affected eveything, the run game then the passing game.

Romo has been surrounded by tons of talent and has come up short in both attempts.

A botched FG attempt(his fault)against the Seahawks.
An INT in the endzone to seal the win for the Giants.

Both games were ultimately lost with his hands on the ball.

And how is that different than each team in the division? The difference to me is we are returning better players than anyone else and/or aren't counting on rookies/new players to significantly contribute.

The Giants have to replace Plaxico as a consistent WR and their main red zone weapon. They have to replace Toomer who was productive in moving the chains. They are counting on 2 rookies to do that. Smith is a solid #2 but he's no #1. Hixon has potential but he disappears often. Moss may not even make the team.

Philly has the same problem we had going into last year. All of their WR are of similar size and skill set. Jackson, Curtis and Baskett are all burners, not chain movers. That's where they used Westbrook and Celek. Now Maclin, who is going to have to learn an NFL passing tree, is supposed to come in and be a top contributor? I don't really see it.

Dallas has the MOST questions because they lost the best WR in the division from last year. Hate him or not, 67 catches, 1,000+ yards and 10 TD doesn't go un-missed. That's pretty significant to try to replace. R. Williams had one good year, one, and that was with Mike Martz calling the plays. Crayton and Austin don't scare anyone, at all. They made no additions to their WR corp and are expecting Williams to jump by 50+ receptions to be a #1? Shaky at best.

I think it's clear. Moss will produce like always, Randle El will produce similar to last year and if Thomas doubles his production (not a stretch based on all offseason reports) then we should have the class of the division at WR this year.
