Bottomline, this guy is a former 1st round pick, got paid 1st round money and has yet to show Washington a return on their investment. He has one of the top Backs in the league in CP, a very good TE in Cooley and a good WR in Moss.

players change OC's and even teams each year and have good seasons so enough of that excuse.

and he performed very well in the first part of the season...then the key to any offense, the OL fell apart and we faced some damn good defenses. Didn't CP's production fall off drastically in the second half? As far as money, JC is a value for us in his cap number right now. Also, let's not kid ourselves, our WR corps is not top flight. Moss is a smallish, speed WR. Outside of him what did we have last year.

Which brings me to my next point....

Jason better dig down and find something deep within himself to improve upon. Because i wouldn't count on Derrick Dockery shoring up all of our OL problems. And i certainly wouldnt count on Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly taking a step forward. They may..but i wouldn't count on it. Not if my job depended on it.

my bad, he didnt forget. he claims he didnt hear the play. carolina game.
i remembered reading it wasnt the play called and he made one up. luckily and he even said god was with him as he hit Cooley who broke a long run for the TD to win.How many plays does a QB get in a game....about 60, times 16 games...that's about 960 plays in a year. And we hear about 1 being a problem. JC is not the first QB to call his own play in the huddle.

So what if the OL struggles this year and Thomas/Kelly don't step up.....do we fire the QB too? JC isn't Colt Brennan, who can block for himself and catch his own passes.

We will let him go without resigning him because without those tools, he will not improve.

Nice Colt name drop. Colt is the best thing since sliced bread and the west coast offense.
