For what it's worth, Nic Clemons actually appeared in 10 games this year for the Broncos...his first action since 2005 with us.
Weird.
And look where it got the Broncos. :)

Ok here's my question: if Rak plays SLB on 1st and 2nd down but then puts his hand in the dirt on obvious passing downs, which side will he play, LDE or RDE?
...also which DEs get cut? With Lorenzo down to 275 he's basically a LDE prototype now. Then we've Wynn, Buzbee and Jackson all for backups too. We're not exactly loaded w/ talent at the position...just some able bodies.

Both of your questions are good ones. I hope that he plays LDE so that we can have Carter coming from the right.
As for the second question, if I were a DE not named Carter or Orakpo, I'd definitely be bringing my A game to training camp. Competition will be fierce.

Yes it will. This will only make us better. I'm getting fired up just thinking about it.

With Orakpo, I honestly think they're just checking out their options right now. Nothing is set in stone just yet.

That's a good way of looking at it. Must be pretty stressful for the younger guys who haven't played. Buzbee had the injury last year. Jackson hasn't taken a snap yet. And Wilson is pretty superfluous as a DE now. I mean you don't want to jettison the younger guy just so Wynn can hold a roster spot but honestly who do ya prefer as a backup? A proven vet everybody loves or a totally untested young blood?
...also scratch what i said before...Lorenzo is a lock to make the final roster now that I think about it. He's uber versatile and probably makes a better backup DE than Buzbee, Jackson or Wilson. My gut is two of those three guys get cut...we'll see.
