Rams released Pisa Tinoisamoa!53Fan 05-10-2009, 12:09 AM Nope. Upshaw was 2003. GTripp0012 05-10-2009, 12:16 AM He was the RDE in 2005. Wynn played on the other side. Wynn was basically a career LDE. The Goat 05-10-2009, 12:21 AM He was the RDE in 2005. Wynn played on the other side. Wynn was basically a career LDE. Got it. Makes sense too cuz we brought AC here in '06 to play RDE and that's when Daniels switched. It is weird though...I swear i remember Daniels coming off the left side during the playoff game in Tampa. The mind plays tricks... GTripp0012 05-10-2009, 12:25 AM Got it. Makes sense too cuz we brought AC here in '06 to play RDE and that's when Daniels switched. I forget who played in his place, but it's very possible that Daniels switched sides of the line in that one. 53Fan 05-10-2009, 12:30 AM Wynn did break his arm in that game. Ron Warner? tryfuhl 05-10-2009, 12:49 AM How long till the obligatory "they let him go for a reason" post? Because while I hate the fact that we have people that start threads for virtually every free agent I equally hate the people that seem to think that teams never make mistakes when they release players. Yeah we released James Thrash and Brian Mitchell for reasons. So they could kick our ass when they played for the Eagles. He didn't fit the role that they needed and was oft injured. They let him go for a reason. That doesn't mean that another team can't benefit more from him than the Rams could. tryfuhl 05-10-2009, 12:53 AM Look, the FO is only signing Tinoisamoa if A) Blache thinks he's a better Weak Side LB than Mcintosh (no). B) If we're willing to pay him the money he's asking. (doubt it). And C) Were not in the market for a Weak Side LB, so to me this would be a bad signing. Thats why Rams released him, because they found out he wasn't big enough to play SAM, so to sign him would mean he'd be start at weak side while we're still experimenting at SAM which is still a need. This move wouldn't make sense. And that's an issue that we've had with the Redskins; expecting too much interchangeability with our players. It's great if a guy can fill in where he doesn't specialize but most of the time the players got into the position they are for a reason. EARTHQUAKE2689 05-10-2009, 01:58 AM Seems like a waste, If the Rams don't want him why should we??? GTripp0012 05-10-2009, 02:34 AM Wynn did break his arm in that game. I forget who played in his place, but it's very possible that Daniels switched sides of the line in that one.It was some combination of Demetric Evans and Nic Clemons (and Chris Clemons took a few snaps as well). GTripp0012 05-10-2009, 02:38 AM For what it's worth, Nic Clemons actually appeared in 10 games this year for the Broncos...his first action since 2005 with us. Weird. |
