It's too easy to get angry on here guys. There's too much security sitting behind a computer screen. Move back to the topic.
Greg Blache Defensive Scheme!!Monksdown 05-15-2009, 10:19 AM It's too easy to get angry on here guys. There's too much security sitting behind a computer screen. Move back to the topic. dmek25 05-15-2009, 10:31 AM if it means anything, which i doubt, i think gtripp brings alot to the table. i find most of his analysis very helpful/ insightful. and i usually smell arrogance, even when there isn't any. i think his is more of frustration. OK, i have said enough. now back to arguing about something i know very little about- politics( where's firstdown when you need him?) 53Fan 05-15-2009, 11:21 AM Keep doing what you do Tripp. You're a whole lot easier to take than the geniuses who come on here and say stuff like," Campbell sucks because.......you know he's... too tall...or something.....yeah!" Arrogant? Sometimes. Informative? Very. I don't always agree with him, but the board is better with him than without. JMO. skinsfan69 05-15-2009, 05:07 PM I do think I'm read that way, because you can only tell so many people that they don't know what they think they do before you get the know-it-all reputation. If you notice though, I only "seem" to end up in those long winded debates with those of the really, really arrogant type. Again, not totally undeserved, because I'm always the common link in those high-arrogance debates, but I think it takes two to tango. You gotta be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!! You're soooooooo damn arrogant it's not even funny. You have the "Mr. Know It All" reputation around here cause you come off as one...... with all your crazy metric BS stats that are just silly. I mean if football was played with stat sheets and metric tools then you'd be the man around here. But it's played on a football field. But I do enjoy debating with you and you are very football knowledgable. But just remember that there are many others around here that know just as much as you do, if not more. diehardskin2982 05-15-2009, 06:22 PM I wonder if the skins would consider Chris McAlister to play the nickel corner position. Do we have a legitimate nickel corner on the roster? GridIron26 05-15-2009, 09:08 PM I wonder if the skins would consider Chris McAlister to play the nickel corner position. Do we have a legitimate nickel corner on the roster? Well, theoretically either Smoot or Barnes would be #3 corner.. I'm pulling for Barnes to win the spot - on papers, he definitely looks good.. So let's wait and see if he can do the walk.. I wouldn't mind signing a legitimate #3 corner from market and give it a competition between those guys, including Tryon (long shot tho).. Sean"Big Hurt"Taylor 05-15-2009, 10:32 PM I wish we could get McAlister and move him to free safety and move Landry to his natural position. It would be an incredible move for our defense! 30gut 05-15-2009, 10:52 PM I wish we could get McAlister and move him to free safety and move Landry to his natural position. But I do enjoy debating with you and you are very football knowledgable. But just remember that there are many others around here that know just as much as you do, if not more.Well, I'm sorry you think that. I also enjoy debating with you, and I appreciate the respect. A lot of people, I think, do realize that at the end of the day, I'm not trying to come off as THE knowledgeable one, or THE only one who can form a coherent opinion. And, I think, to generalize everything I say into a "just wants to be right" category would be a poor description of my character. But, yes, I am knowledgeable, and if people try to explain why I'm wrong, I'm going to go out and defend my opinion. Always. Is that arrogance? I guess, then. Sorry for knowing my shit. Unlike some people on this board though, I'm not afraid to admit when I am wrong about something (Todd Collins), or someone. In my definition of arrogance, an arrogant person would not be able to do that. RedBar 05-16-2009, 10:56 PM Uhhh...mazing! You take a group of guys that are probably not the most talented, get them to play consistently well over the course of a long injury riddled season where very often the offense wasn't doing them any favors, they finish fourth overall and you get a couple of armchair Ditka's that think you get bonus points for sacks to post a ridiculous thread like this. If I were him and I read this I might retire or worse bring my mediocre scheme to Dallas and leave us with the proven accomplishments of Jerry Gray. |
