It'd be pretty cool to get K. Washington... went to high school with him and his older brother was a good buddy of mine. I remember ESPN nick'd him "The Future" in his junior year article. Had a neck injury that kept him out of the first two rounds...

I wouldn't mind at all if Hackett or R Williams were our #3 or even #2 if they prove to be the best. These guys are only 27/28 so they could give us a couple good years and let Thomas and Kelly grow a little more or not have to push it if they're not healthy. They're only 22 so there's no need to rush em all long as they work hard and keep getting better.

I believe Thrash is going to be let go. Possibly even Randel El. M. Kelly is in line for the chopping block also if he doesn't show some kind of improvement instead of just hanging around for knee surgeries. Take alook at all the WR's we have brought in. There is definitely an interest to replace more than one rostered WR. We drafted one, and brought in several undrafted WR's. We also brought in a few experienced veterans to try out for WR. Common sense tells you that the writing is on the wall for those WR not producing. Noone is safe...

ARE isn't going anywhere. Cutting him would create a cap hit of over $13M.

Kelly probably isn't going anywhere either unless he has some sort of career ending injury. It's way too early to give up on him.

There's nothing to take away from the WRs that have been signed. They are camp (no)bodies with the hope that maybe one of them steps up and sticks as a #4 type.

That makes no sense. Giving Campbell some warm bodies to throw to while most of our WR squad rests up for June?

Would you rather have him throwing to coaches and trainers? He's go to throw to somebody.

Guys like Roydell Williams and Trent Shelton aren't being brought in to shake up the WR corps. Talk about something that makes no sense.

C'mon Matty! That was sarcasm at it's finest.

I agree. It is very smart to not count on the draft picks and Thrash as starters/depth. None of them should be looked at as a contributor at this time.

I am wondering how close they are to giving up on Kelly. Does he even deserve a roster spot if this thing lingers into August and September?
I really can't stress how baffling this mentality is to me. You don't give up on young players after one injury. He has done the things necessary (microfracture surgery) to correct it and now give the kid a chance to perform in camp before ending his tenure with the team.

Some of you guys whine like little b*tches about not building thru the draft and trading away draft picks and blah blah blah but are so quick to pull the trigger on one of those draft picks after one season and one partial offseason. Amazing.
