Put up or shut up. They're currently the #3 and #4 WRs...so they do not have to step in in Week 1 and take over the offense. It will be great if they can or do...but Moss and Randel El are still the main guys for now. After this season, the two sophomores need to be capable of replacing at least Randel El and possibly being the #1 and #2 guys if they need to be. I thought that the hit was in the neighborhood of 5 million if they cut him next year before a roster bonus. Maybe I misread the article that I read about his restructuring but if it is indeed 10 million, restructuring him the way they did was pretty stupid. ARE is a marginal #3. If 2010 is uncapped, wouldn't it make sense to clear the decks of all the underachievers with stupid cap numbers?
