Paintrain 05-03-2009, 06:29 PM If you look at his grades and comments immediately after that draft (link on the page) you'll see how foolish it is to grade a draft before these guys even go thru a rookie camp. He annointed Matt Lienart, Laurence Maroney and Vernon Davis as 'great players'. How'd that work out? Nflnick11 05-03-2009, 07:39 PM I give it a C+ because we got one decent starter (McIntosh) and two good servicable DTs that occasionally start (as of the haynesworth deal) and we got a ST which you get in every draft SouperMeister 05-04-2009, 11:59 AM This is the only way to evaluate a draft, after 2 or 3 years. I would say that our grade should be around a C. We added solid DT depth and a decent starter at OLB with McIntosh (when healthy). I remember Casserly getting crucified by the press for selecting Mario Williams #1 overall. Looks like he got the last laugh on that one.
