What do you think? Worth a look as a backup/3rd down pass rusher?

He's 27, has some sacks and FF's. I wouldn't mind having him come in and compete for a spot. It's all about competition.

Worth considering only if you're going to bump a Renaldo Wynn off the roster. I'd rather not see a young guy like Rob Jackson get squeezed off the roster. LaBoy's not bad, definitely would be an upgrade over Wynn, and certainly younger.

Well, his only ever productive season was credited largely to Haynesworth-effect, so he'd fit right in here. But only as an OLB. We have too many RDEs (3) already.

And yeah, it would squeeze a guy like Wynn off the final roster if we kept 7 LBs.

After drafting Orakapo I'd like to see our line get younger. I'd be up for Wynn leaving in favor of some young blood.
As long as it fits our scheme though. If they don't think LaBoy has a function in our scheme I wouldn't cut Wynn.
For some reason I don't want to go in with Wynn and Daniels on the roster. I'd rather have younger depth.

I like Wynn only because he has a solid presence within the locker room. Skill wise he doesn't bring us much more than we can get from a younger castoff but I think if we can keep him and use him very situationally and let him lead some it would help us. Having Daniels and Wynn around to maintain some order with Haynesworth and the younger guys could be somewhat helpful. As for LaBoy I have no problem letting him come in and show us what he has but I am not sure he has a any more than what we already have. We need more OLBs and while he has the frame and size for that I am not sure his skill set is what we are looking for. We really need a little more versatility from our LBs. He's a pass rusher and probably couldn't cover Jon Jansen split out a TE.

If it makes our team better go for it. Hate to see anyone of our current Skins getting bumped but you have to put the best on the field.

Wynn still has all the skills he ever did. He hasn't exactly lost a step if you know what I mean. Daniels was once a very good pass rusher who is coming off major knee surgery, and is on the wrong side of 35. If it was an open competition, I would think Wynn would get the nod. But Blache would never cut Daniels, so that's that.
