GMScud 05-04-2009, 10:35 PM No his injury and over dedication to the game plus bad play calling cost jets the season. prior the interception he was having the best season of his career and if it was for Tom Brady Randy Moss connection he wouldve been MVP..
He had some god awful decision making down the stretch. Blaming it on an injury is weak. Some of his picks were laughably bad. You said Mangini abonded the run down the stretch?? Didn't Thomas Jones lead the AFC in rushing??
Your sentence about Brady/Moss makes zero sense.
Lotus 05-04-2009, 10:58 PM So you're telling me that Eric Manidiots approach of abandoning a running game that was fierce to go all run and gun half way through the season was bad. Favre did hit a wall yes but Favre up to week 10 was a great choice in coming back and the Thompson looked like an idiot for letting him go. for him to get started in pre-season basically without real condition what do you expect?
Favre threw 7 picks in 3 games in OCTOBER.

Somehow, this is unbelievable to me.

Does this mean that John Madden could return as well? LOL.
CRedskinsRule 05-05-2009, 05:35 PM ^^ John's eating a turkey leg somewhere looking at Minnesota's schedule.
Skinny Tee 05-05-2009, 05:46 PM Favre's shoulder is gone and is preventing him from being like he used to.
But Favre at 60% is better than Sage and Tarvaris at 100%. I think it's a perfect move for Favre and the Vikings.
I love how Favre just wants to stick it to the Packers and that will make for great games even if he doesn't do that well. I'm not in love with Favre I just want to see some good football action since I'm an impartial spectator.

I bet that's a relief to your new fiancee. ;)
Lotus 05-05-2009, 06:06 PM I hope that the Packers pound Favre into permanent retirement.
