That's almost the same guys that got the Redskins to an 8-8 season last year. The O-line needs a drastic overhaul.

KI Skins Fan 07-21-2009, 01:58 PM QB: Jason Campbell, Colt Brennan, Todd Collins OL: Chris Samuels, Derrick Dockery, Casey Rabach, Randy Thomas, Stephon Heyer, Will Montgomery, Jeremy Bridges, Chad Rinehart, Devin Clark, and Edwin Williams. Most difficult unit to predict. Trade or FA pickup probable. WR: Santana Moss, Malcolm Kelly, Devin Thomas, Antwaan Randle El, Marko Mitchell Deep threat. RB: Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts, Rock Cartwright FB: Mike Sellers, Eddie Williams Top notch receiver out of the backfield. TE: Chris Cooley, Fred Davis, Todd Yoder DE: Philip Daniels, Andre Carter, Jeremy Jarmon, Lorenzo Alexander Can play DE or DT (also offense and ST). Too versatile to cut. DT: Albert Haynesworth, Cornelius Griffin, Kedric Golston, Anthony Montgomery. LB: London Fletcher, Rocky McIntosh, Brian Orakpo, HB Blades, Alfred Fincher, Robert Thomas Orakpo can back-up Andre Carter at DE, if needed. Fincher is versatile and good on ST. Thomas makes it on experience and smarts. CB: Carlos Rogers, DeAngelo Hall, Kevin Barnes, Fred Smoot, Doug Dutch Dutch is bigger than Tryon, faster than Westbrook, and makes his mark on ST. S: Laron Landry , Chris Horton, Reed Doughty, Kareem Moore. KR/PR: Dominique Dorsey We finally find a return man. K: Shaun Suisham P: Hunter Smith LS: Ethan Albright Paintrain 07-21-2009, 04:25 PM That's almost the same guys that got the Redskins to an 8-8 season last year. The O-line needs a drastic overhaul. How do you propose to do that 8 days before camp opens? mmil12 07-21-2009, 04:37 PM QB: Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, Colt 45 Would love to flip flop the two but not going to happen this year RB: Portis, Betts, Cartright, Dorsey (Love Portis, but we have to limit his carries this year. We kill him every year by week 9. FB: Sellers TE: Cooley, Davis, Yoder WR: Moss, El, Thomas, Kelly, R. Williams, Mitchell (Didn't carry 6 last year and were always short. Could be same situation with Kelly) OL: Samuels, Dockery, Rabach, Thomas, Heyer, Williams, Bridges, Reinhardt (May need one more here) DE: Philip Daniels, Andre Carter, Jeremy Jarmon, Renaldo Wynn, Alexander (Need experience and Alexander is so versitle) DL: Haynesworth, Griffen, Montgomery, Golston (Might need one more here too) LB: Fletcher, McIntosh, Orakpo, Blades, Fincher, Thomas, Wilson (Can take one away from here to fill a gap somewhere else) CB: Hall, Rogers, Smoot, Barnes, Tryon (Love to see Westbrook beat out Tryon) S: Landry, Horton, Moore, Daughty LS: Albright (might be worst in the game) K: Suisham (Hate this, wish it were someone else) P: Hunter Smith (Great Signing) Paintrain 07-21-2009, 04:47 PM QB: Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, Colt 45 Would love to flip flop the two but not going to happen this year RB: Portis, Betts, Cartright, Dorsey (Love Portis, but we have to limit his carries this year. When did Albright, who went to the Pro Bowl 2 years ago and has never screwed up a snap as a Redskin, become 'worst in the game'? How do we need experience at DE, our oldest position group? What leads you to believe it may 'be the same situation with Kelly'? Based on what so far? mmil12 07-21-2009, 04:58 PM I'm curious about a couple of things, why would you love to see Westbrook beat out Tryon? Albright - ESPN came out with a stat last year about the amount of revolutions a football should spin before it gets to the punter. It so happen that Albright was rated last in the league at this. ESPN attributed much of our punting problems on this aspect of his game. They said his ball was significiantly slower then other L Snappers. Do I think he is a good blocker yes! 2. What I meant by experience at DE was that I don't thiink we can only have Buzbee and Jarmon there as back-ups. I'd like to see us have Jarmon with Wynn a proven veteran back-up and get Rob ready. Makes sense now? 3. Kelly hasn't proven anything yet. Yes, thus far in the off season he has shown that he can run routes without the knee swelling. However, I want to see him last an entire 16 games before I declare him healthy enough. The wear and tear of an NFL season is much more difficult then just an off season. As a fan, you have to agree that we were limited last year at WR with only Moss, ARE, Thrash, and Thomas. I'd definitely go 6 deep this year to prevent this from happening again because Kelly hasn't proven fully healthy this year. Thomas has proven he is consistantly going to perform, and Mitchell is a rookie. mmil12 07-21-2009, 05:04 PM Westbrook, because he was an undrafted rookie we signed from a smaller school. Tryon has all the hype around as a top round draft pick. Basically, do I want both to perform of course. However, it would be great to see Westbrook go from nothing to something. I'd love to see Tryon come and battle hard for a spot and beat out Smoot. Smoot's skills are slowing decreasing and he isn't getting any younger. Having Rogers, Hall, Barnes, Westbrook, and Smoot as our corners for the next 5-10 years would be amazing! CRedskinsRule 07-21-2009, 05:11 PM 1. Can we get stats on how many rotations a qbs ball has on a 5yard out too. I mean that would be cool. I am picturing Madden with a telestrator (or whatever they are called) following the ball from EA's hand to the punter. See how the laces don't revolve until here, a good snap has to have those laces back up earlier. That must be why EA was Maddens Mr. Irrelevant. SmootSmack 07-21-2009, 05:21 PM 1. Ummm....were you referring to this? http://www.thewarpath.net/512403-post1.html The arch on his snaps is 1.65 degrees lower than 2007 and an astonishing 2.94 degrees lower than 2006. On top of that on field goal attempts of more than 30 yards, he averages only 12 full rotations of the football by the time it gets to the holder. That's in the bottom third of the league! I made that up you know. If ESPN has come up with any such stat...I haven't seen it Stuck in TX 07-22-2009, 01:01 AM Ummm....were you referring to this? http://www.thewarpath.net/512403-post1.html I made that up you know.
