I don't think it's a stretch to say they regressed this season on the field. Say what you want about addition by subtraction with T.O. but it's hard to replace 1,000 yds and 10 TD. They're relying a whole lot in the secondary on the development of the kid from S. Florida (Phillips?) at CB and a 5th rounder from last year (Scandrick) and did nothing to get younger on the OL. I think the 'Boys are staring 8-8 squarely in the face.

Or possibly worse. Their overall talent level is declining. They really needed to get it done when they were 13-3 a couple of years back.

Since I wasnt here for this thread I want to list a couple drafts I liked so I can look back and see if I was right.

Top 5 I liked....

1. Bengals - Andre Smith, Rey Maualuga, Michael Johnson, Chase Coffman, and Jonathan Luigs were all nice picks. Maybe the best draft ive seen since I started watching the draft in 1996.
2. Giants - Hakeem Nicks, Clint Sintim, William Beatty, Ramses Barden, Travis Beckum, Andre Brown, and Rhett Bomar were all nice picks where they were drafted. I really like Nicks and Beckum.
3. Browns - Alex Mack, Brian Robiskie, Mohamed Massaquoi, David Veikune, Coye Francies, and James Davis are all nice picks.
4. Cardinals - Chris Wells, Cody Brown, Rashad Johnson, Herman Johnson, and Will Davis were all nice picks. Wells should be OROY imo and a serious sleeper to look out for is Will Davis.
5. Raiders - People will call me crazy but I loved the DHB pick. The 2nd round pick of Michael Mitchell in round 2 is boom or bust but I liked his hard hitting style at Ohio.

Top 5 I hated.....

1. Bronocs - Passing on Brian Orakpo for Knowshon Moreno was stupid. Im so happy for us Skins fans they did. Robert Ayers in a 3-4 defense doesnt make sense to me. Trading their 1st round pick next year instead of the one they got fromCHicago to move up to get Alphonso Smith was funny. I like Smith but the Broncos pick might be top 5 while the Bears pick will be alot lower.
2. Chiefs - Drafting Tyson Jackson third overall was just perplexing to me. He better become a stud because they passed on alot of top tier talent for him.
3. Lions - I think Stafford was a huge mistake at #1 overall. I also think Brandon Pettigrew is overrated by a mile. No way I draft a blocking TE in round 1. Even more so when playmaking TEs slipped into lower rounds. Delmas was a nice pick but not over Rey Maualuga.
4. Bucs - I really think Josh Freeman was a really risky pick.
5. Vikings - The Percy Harvin pick was too high for my liking.

I think for the picks they had it wasnt that bad of a draft for them. they drafted alot of solid players imo like Stephen McGee, Brandon Williams, DeAngelo Smith, Michael Hamlin, and John Phillips.

The pick that made their draft imo was Mike Mickens in round 7. I really think hes going to be a damn good player. There is always one or two players drafted late that end up making a impact. Mickens will end up being one of those guys.
