Daniels;
Negatives: May be too short for the NFL. Scouts believe his success in this system is greatly tied to throwing out of the shotgun -- and thereby the open passing lanes and middle underneath passes of the scheme. Seemed to provide further evidence of this theory with his struggles at the East-West Shrine game. Questionable arm strength. Has the zip to complete the short and intermediate passes, but has to wind-up for longer throws and due to his lack of height and release point, longer passes tend to sail.
Was that Daniels or Brennan's analysis? :)

It's funny how Zorn dislikes the shotgun and two years now has brought in "system" QBs whose success is strongly tied to the formation.

We just signed Scott Burley, Maryland tackle. Not real excited about this
I was (am) hoping we'd sign the other Maryland tackle, Dane Randolph. Did he get drafted? He sounds like a guy Buges could mold into a decent player.

sometimes i wonder about you Terp fans. if these guys are so good, why isn't Maryland consistently playing in the B.C.S series?

He was being sarcastic. The same exact things can be (and were) said about Brennan who somehow is the next coming (in some fans eyes) of Tom Brady.

For the record, not a Terps fan, just think we hit the jackpot with Barnes and Williams. Barnes is a strong nickel-corner, which you need more than ever these days. And I think Williams can be our starting C sooner than later.
