Thank you, Matty. I was starting to think I was watching somebody different than everybody else. Mason is definitely worth another look, he reminds me alot of Pierre Thomas here in New Orleans and I think he could be a solid contributor... Besides, when was the last time Betts or Rock did anything for our run game? This kid is hungry and he has young fresh legs, a good combo to have for a RB.:soapbox:

Why do we need to bring in anymore backs?

I'm not sold on Betts being a SOLID number 2 option. The ONLY thing Betts has done for The Redskins was in 2005 after Portis went out for the season hurt.(1000 + rush yards) Since then I have not seen much production out of him. I am interested to see what the young guys that we brought in from the CFL and Denver can do, but why not give Mason another shot?

We may bring him back, but its hard to see that it would make a difference. He went through two preseasons with us, could not make the 53. Then last season got an opportunity with 2 different teams and couldn't make their 53. IF you want to bring a runner in, then at this point you want to find the youthful runner who is up and coming, and Mason doesn't fit that bill. Also, you know he isn't going to make the team solely on ST ability so it's hard to see him coming in and finding a spot on our roster.
