Adam Leonard is a beast, or at least he looked like one against WAC teams. Dan Kelly gan kick 60 yarders like nothing in warmups, but seems to miss a lot of in game field goals. what about Solomon Eliminian, he's a beast to. him and Leonard were a good linebacking core for Hawaii.

Not sure if they were actually signed, or just invited to try out though

lot of FBs and TEs, maybe leverage against Sellers or eventual replacement? TE's? Not expecting to have Yoder much longer? Or just fodder?

I beg to differ. Portis is the best blocker in the league. Mason is Mr. No-block. If you don't want Campbell to be decapitated then you want a back who can block, not just run.

I do believe JoeRedskin was mocking the marcus mason mania. I would stick my neck out and say Joe was quite ok with the fact that Mason did not prove himself after he left our team.

To Recap on Mason, we put him on our practice squad, went to Baltimore, who was looking for a RB, didnt make it, went to NYJ, and got cut. Did I miss something?

To recap, recap.....we had 3 RB and put him on practice squad. Baltimore picked him up after one of their RB got hurt leaving them with 2 really good RB's so they put him on practice squad. Then the same thing happened to the Jets so they brought him to NJ and he was active but never used due to them having 2 really decent RB's.

If any of you thought he was going to go to a team and start right off over Portis, Betts, or whoever was at Balt. after like 2-3 games or to the Jets like after 4 games and start not knowing the plays your crazy.

Now be honest, He's a good RB. He could be a really good RB if given time to learn or should we right him off and throw in Thomas and Kelly since they sucked also? If your going to give a WR time to learn the speed and timing and route running and tricks to throw off the defender then I think you could give Mason a little time to become good also.

I say sign him. He should remember the plays and if nothing else he's camp fodder again. but keep in mind he did make the practice squad last yr. No different then Byron Westbrook who has not seen the field and been on the practice squad team for like 3 yrs.

The New York Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) have announced they have waived RB Marcus Mason (http://www.kffl.com/player/16879/nfl).

Should he be coming back to DC???

Amazing that teams keep missing the boat on this guy.

Yeah why not bring him back? We need something to root for in the preseason other than Colt.

How about at WR? Jaison Williams and Greg Carr or Aaron Kelly are big target recievers who put up respectable numbers.
