Man, I think this guy is going to have lift weights, go on atkins and join a cross country club to drop some of that weight, damn, and i was hoping he actually got in shape over the last few years to get his back in better shape. Maybe its healed (please god?)

How could you not have a bad back at 450 lbs? This guy doesn't sound serious about a comeback...

Maybe we can use him as a goal line situation lineman, I mean at that weight he could just fall forward and he'll make a hole.

Is there anywhere to watch tape of him actually playing? I couldn't find anything on youtube...
I'm definitely skeptical about him, but still glad to have him around, if only to keep up Dockery's spirits lol...

Bottom line of this article: Samuels is still recovering and we're already short on legit OT talent. If we don't sign a stud vet who gets cut because of an expensive contract (and his franchise just drafted one of the four OT studs) I'm gonna have a fit.

Also found it curious from the article Malcolm Kelly still can't do anything. He's not been able to do all the off-season work w/ JC and develop that chemistry and timing. I would say Kelly isn't likely to contribute anything this year...he just hasn't been able to develop at all since we drafted him. And it's unsettling how there's really nothing said about when he's expected to be fully healthy...his knee sounds like it's FUBAR.
...Vinny is a lousy evaluator IMHO.

I'm a little tired so im not exactly sure what you are saying here, but the bottom line is, Samuels might be in for an injury plagued year, this guy (Williams) had potential (4th overall in 2002) and he probably wont pan out, where does that leave us? all of a sudden it went from a newly jacked up offensive line with a couple of average, to below average spots, to a piece of Swiss cheese. News floating around says that the Bengals are going to release Levi Jones, but there is already a line starting (Bills). And I was hoping we could save that money for signing stud LB Leroy Hill (UFA Seattle). Damn, all of a sudden it looks like this season just went down the shitter. Hopefully our defense can scrape up 16 near shut outs and can produce some TD's for us this year, our offense isn't going to do shit.
