Outside of the first 2 rounds the talent really isn't there this year. The Jets really screwed up with Sanchez and we really did good by avoiding him. i still think we will look to trade up to take McCoy or Bradford in 2010. I am just disappointed that, with a top 10 defense and one of the lowest scoring offenses in the league, we didnt take a few more shots on that side of the ball. Think about it, other than Dockery, every significant offseason aquisition has been on the defensive side of the ball. Haynesworth, Hall, Orakpo, Barnes. I'm not all that disappointed that we didn't touch the OL as we aren't exactly oozing with roster space at that position, but I'm pretty shocked that we're not spending late round picks on a runner we like. I mean, it's a perfect use of a 5th or 6th rounder, and we're just poking around for linebackers who can't all make the team because, again, limited roster space. | |
