cobracai1 04-25-2009, 09:32 PM Clint Sintim- great pick for the Giants. Guys a beast takethecake 04-25-2009, 09:33 PM Oh and the Giants just took Clint Sintim... sorry to bum out everyone who was hoping he'd somehow fall to us. The Giants are actually having themselves a decent draft so far... I guess we'll just hope another one of their stars has some horrible random breakdown. Lotus 04-25-2009, 09:34 PM I think thats kind of weak logic. Let's say JC didn't say it, I would think the following reactions would be most likely: 1) go to Zorn and say "Hey, I don't know where that quote came from" and Zorn would smooth it with the FO 2) think, hmm I do feel that way, so I will just let it linger out there and not comment. In no way would I think, given his less than out spoken nature, that he would respond with an angry rebuttal that he was falsely quoted. Yes. It has been pointed out before that it would be quite out of character for JC to be demanding a trade that way, especially when his "competition" had not even been drafted yet! NM Redskin 04-25-2009, 09:34 PM Looks like we could of had Beatty of Unger for 2nd we gave Mia. :( Beemnseven 04-25-2009, 09:35 PM Help me out here with the Browns trade -- as I understand it, they trade out of the #5 spot for the Jets #17, in return they get the Jets' 2nd round pick and some players. Then, they trade two spots down with the Bucs, and then trade two spots down again with the Eagles. For moving down those two spots, they picked up only a sixth round pick from both the Bucs and Eagles. Am I missing something here? Was there more to the story? I know there's a numerical chart which assigns value for each pick, but it just seems like that was a small price for the Bucs and Eagles to pay. If I'm a Browns fan, I don't like moving down a total of 4 spots in the first round for two lousy 6th round picks. The Giants are actually having themselves a decent draft so far... I guess we'll just hope another one of their stars has some horrible random breakdown. I hate to say it because I dislike the Giants so much, but they have so many picks, they're going to have a good draft unless they start taking stupid pills. Lotus 04-25-2009, 09:37 PM Looks like we could of had Beatty of Unger for 2nd we gave Mia. :( Ugh. One of those guys would have been sweet. Zerohero 04-25-2009, 09:38 PM 4-5 mil isn't big money the big money qb's are getting double digits JC isn't a big money QB. RMSkins 04-25-2009, 09:38 PM What are the Raiders doing? Heyward-Bey at #7 and now Safety Michael Mitchell from Ohio at #47? Two huge reaches. I like Mitchell, he's a fierce hitter but they probably could have gotten him in the 5th or 6th. tryfuhl 04-25-2009, 09:38 PM Yup. Garrard looked a lot better in 2007 when their line was actually blocking. Smart too, because I think Britton will definitely be better as a RT. Good for them. Jones-Drew is loving this. no doubt, not to mention garrard shedding some weight to be more mobile.. now he'll have more protection too |
