we /wi/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [wee] Show IPA
–plural pronoun, possessive our or ours, objective us. 1. nominative pl. of I.
2. (used to denote oneself and another or others): We have two children. In this block we all own our own houses.
3. (used to denote people in general): the marvels of science that we take for granted.
fwiw i was a huge colt brennan fan in college, he is arguably the best college QB of all time and didnt get credit for it because of the talent(or lack there of) in his conference. He was a much better QB than Timmy Chang(who set the record for most interceptions as well as several positive college records) who he actually replaced as hawaii's starting QB after chang went undrafted. Many consider brennan(or any hawaii QB) to be a system QB. i find that argument hard to swallow. I think brennan was asked to do something that many players probably couldnt do. and he did it better than any other QB has ever done. His transition to the pros was expected to be slow and tedious as indicated by his draft position.
He has a low release, which coupled with his shorter frame, makes his passes more likely to be tipped. His arm strength isnt elite, but his accuracy is and IMO he was a steal that late in the draft. He and Mike Hart RB, michigan were the 2 players i was looking forward to in the draft and they slipped so far that i forgot about them
i could go on but it seems like you guys have already had this argument
he was the main reason i came to this board; i wanted to see if you guys(redskins fans) thought he was any good or capable of carrying the/a team
He may get good enough to start. It'll take time IMO. You are right about his accuracy but his decision making needs serious work and that sidearm release is going to get him in trouble.
As for his college record, I really enjoyed watching him in college. However, the NFL is a very different animal and you can throw college stats out the window. If you don't believe me, I have 5 words: "Andre Ware and David Klingler."
