Bingo!! This whole fiasco is a cluster ****. Why treat a classy, up and coming QB like dirt instead of giving a second season in a different offensive system. If this is true that Campbell has been offered as trade bait and they really draft Sanchez, then Snyder and VC are true ****ing idiots!!
My fellow DieHard Redskins fans I think he is on to something. What have they done to prove they know talent. If finding a franchise QB was easy than every team would do it. We change QB's every 2 years. This is why we are a 8-8 team at best.

If they don't trade for Sanchez and Campbell comes back as the starter, he becomes a FA next year (could be franchised) and/or decides to leave, then who would be our QB? Collins? Brennan? Or are they going to trade the house for Tebow? I hope they have thought about that.

If the cap goes away he won't be a FA.

What browser do you use?
You don't see 'search' on the top toolbar in between 'new posts' and 'quick links'??
My bad. :( When I get to TheWarpath.net it's under "Forum". It has no "Search" on it. When I clicked the thread however I found the silly little browser above. sorry.

Then I guess after the treatment the FO has been given him this offseason that he would ask for a trade like Cutler. You guys think Cutler got screwed, poor Campbell has been lied to his face more than once. I feel for him, he's a classy individual who deserves respect.

JC has been degraded twice in less than a month with the Cutler fiasco and now this Sanchez talk. He could go to a NFC South or West team and probably thrive.

Well, that fossil Collins took us to the playoffs a couple of years ago. I believe we were 5-7 with JC and Collins ran the table (4-0) to finish 9-7.
Dude, that fossil Collins is just that a fossil and probably would get broken in half by the end of the full 16 game schedule. A 4 game stretch is nice, but a whole season it doth not make!!!!!!

When you trade to draft a QB (JC) in the 1st round (Gibbs) you should give him every opportunity to be successfull. Have the Redskins done that with JC?
We all know the different offense system he has to learn, and HC changes. What will be different with Sanchez if you have the same O-line and WR to throw to.
I totally agree he(JC) deserves another yr to prove his worth. I'm not advocating we draft a QB. All I'm saying is if we get one it will not hurt my feeling and I can kinda understand. What will be different with Sanchez? who knows. The kids been in a Pro style WCO his whole time at SC. Yes he only played one yr but he understands the WCO style. Does that make him different no. JC has better experience having played pro games. but "if" JC has a hard time reading defenses and Sanchez supposedly is awsome at reading defenses then we have upgraded. If Sanchez can throw all the NFL throws easily (which I keep hearing and reading) then he's an upgrade to JC considering JC throws the short passes too hard and is not accurate on his long ball. JC has a hard time throwing the ball prior to his WR's making their cuts. He seems to stare down his WR's waiting for them to get open. Sanchez throws the ball prior to the WR making their cuts and hits them in stride. That's an upgrade to me.
I just hope the team has a plan for RT, G, C, LB, and maybe DE.

Also for you conspiracy theorist's out there how do we know that DS does not have Shanahan in his hip pocket telling him next yr he would like to have Sanchez? lol.

Not sure he would want Sanchez. If Shanny was in Danny's hip pocket, we would have acquired Cutler more likely. Sanchez is going to be a bust in the NFL or just another average QB, nothing special. Like I said before, even an average QB would thrive on a stacked team like USC always seems to have. Just like how Colt could set those NCAA passing records playing bullshit reject teams from the old WAC and Mountain conferences. That is why us even thinking about Sanchez is a moot issue. Without a decent line to pass block no matter who is the QB, they are going to have a rough time of it in '09. Keep JC as starter for at least one more year and build the line up. Saturday is going to be very interesting. It sucks that I will have to work when this all unfolds on Saturday.
