Really? He's really mobile, and actually pretty fast in the open field as we saw down the stretch last year. And he basically solved the fumbling issue that plagued him in 2007. They were way down in 2008 in comparison.

You beat me to it. The only thing that I would like to add is that he is not a pretty scrambler and he doesn't know how to slide, but you cannot argue his effectiveness in those situations. I am just scared that he is going to get killed running down field one of these days"

woull you guys trade Jc and randel El and our 3rd for TBs first?

I don't see that happening. TB signed Leftwich. Can anyone really say there is a huge difference in caliber of qb between BL and JC? Enough to drop a first for JC and what is arguably a 3rd/4th receiving option? I say that would never happen.

I beleive that Doug Williams is having Dejavu seeing the alot of the same things he went through on his way to us, and has a good feeling about JC, plus they need another reciever oppiste Bryant, so it would solve 2 holes for them with one pick. Or hell i would even giveem moss and JC for there first

I'm personally tired of people focusing solely on the QB and non of whats going on around him (like no one being able to pass block)

Unless we draft Sanchez and then trade Campbell for a first (obviously wont happen) or high 2nd, I will not be happy.
I wish that we'd wait till next year to address QB if it was necessary. We'll have more picks to offer to move up if we need to and be able to put off any next year picks till 2011.

You can make the case that you don't always need a great O-Line though, see Pittsburgh and Arizona, the Super Bowl teams. Though Arizona had more vertical targets and Pittsburgh's defense was amazing. Not to advocate ignoring it by any means.

I hope this whole thing is an elaborate hoax to get a team near us to draft Sanchez instead of Oher or Orakapo... Does anyone think that maybe vinnie asked JC to demand a trade to make it seem more substantial?

Man you guys are really running with these hopes and dreams haha

It's kind of like when you get dumped and you go around telling people you dumped the other person. Or better yet it's like when you get fired and come back with "you can't fire me, I quit!"

Right!!!!
Campbell's still wearing his wedding band...but the Skins' are already proposing to their mistress!

Don't mind me, I'm just trying out my new Avatar guys. I will change it back if we do not have Mark Sanchez on our roster tomorrow afternoon.

Actually, I am moving this weekend so it may not be tomorrow when/if it were to get changed back.
for the record you're a douche, we don't want you back

Doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Date rape is one of the most prevalent campus crimes and sadly one of the least prosecuted...especially when it's against the star QB of USC.

This also isn't Sanchez's only transgressions...per my Trojan friends
Yeah and it's one of the most falsely accused crimes as well.

What would happen if the Rams or Seahawks draft Sanchez and immediately after that happens Campbell sends word to his agent that he demands a trade to either TB or the Jets? Then what? I wonder if that has ever happened in a draft? I would call it Campbell's revenge.

He can demand all he wants; what's he going to do, sit out?

This is kind of what I expect to happen. Somebody else will jump over us, grab Sanchez and we'll be left trying to repair an irretrievably broken relationship with our starting qb. At that point, we might as well start Colt because JC is NEVER going to sign here again.
Interesting scenario.. I can't see us starting Colt with Campbell here since we're all win now now now, but if we knew we wouldn't re-sign him then it'd be smart to see what we have in Colt, he might not be ready, but you could say the same for Sanchez and many others
