To be honest with you they all are about the same age other then Gruden but he's only 5 or 6 yrs off Cowher.

They are all the same age but Zorn hasnt been through the meat grinder like the others have.

That was my feeling as well. I would much rather give Zorn a fairly comfortable 5 yr window, but of course, I also would keep JC as qb, so I don't know that my thoughts are in line with the FO right now.

Perhaps the meat grinder has created wisdom? Perhaps the meat grinder has shown what works and what doesn't. Instead of creating our own meat grinder and sending Zorn through it we could trade out for a coach that knows what it takes to get to the SB and hopefully not go through the meat grinder again.

Zorn is God.

If this was Zorn's fifth year and we didn't go deep into the play-offs then i'd welcome it. Since it's his second year with his first being so-so then no, I'm not cool with it. Give the man some time.

Article is moronic. THe Cutler ordeal, should have folks in the know by now in that they should see the handwriting is on the wall for Zorn and/or JC. It is now apparent that the Danny has made it known that it is playoffs or bust for these two(at least one of them anyway). Personally I would like to see Zorn get 3 years, but then again if he just plain isn't getting anywhere with JC and co it probably won't matter if he did stick arround for year #3. And in fairness to the Danny, if this season is mediocre, I myself would be tempted to pull the plug on this WCO nonsense also. IF we are even thinking about keeping JC, we should get a Run N gun or something that plays to his cannon arm, not shorter stuff, or if we decide to go after McCoy or Bradford. WCO is old news!!!!!

Cowher. Ughh.

I'll never understand the hype about him. He's an overblown, overrated guy who took forever to win, lost a bunch of home playoff games, and benefitted from a well run franchise that had a front office with brains.

He will do nothing but be a let down to whichever team overpays for him.

If I owned the team I would 1) lure Parcells here in whatever capacity he desires 2) leave the rest to him. I mean it. This IMO is the only worthwhile "startover" scenario.

NEver will happen with Snyder Goat. Marty actually has a fire lit under his 2000 team and Snyder still couldn't relinquish control. I agree with you, but Snyder would committ hari cari before that would happen. IF I was owner I might try and make amends woth Marty if he still wanted to coach.
