That is dumb IMO...either Campbell is your man, or he isn't...make up your mind. I would LOVE to assume this was a motivational tool to "light a fire" under Campbell, but I think the FO doesn't believe in Campbell.
Why are we so stuck on the FO not being allowed to enter thoughts of another QB. Who cares if they are in trade discussion or tryout a player? JC while a young and improving qb does not command that type of respect. So when he finishes up next year will he only listen to redskin contract offers??? Thats a trick question btw cuz he wont get any other starting offers. :silly:

Detroit's in the Super Bowl discussion, anyway, because they changed what was holding them back - their uniforms. :)
Now Danny's going to read this and try to trade for their uniforms next year.

You just don't shatter a young QB's confidence by shopping him to anyone that will listen like that and on the other side of your mouth tell him he's the man to lead the team. It's one or the other. If all they are doing is "entering thoughts of another QB", then tell JC that. He does indeed DESERVE enough respect to be told "hey kid, you didn't perform well enough to ensure your starting position here next year". I don't have a problem with the Skins looking for a replacement if thats what they feel they need to do, but at the least, be honest with Campbell about it.

Do you really think he didnt know this going into the offseason??? JC and his agent are smart enough to know hes not rock solid number 1 future qb in the FO's mind. They had meetings together recently so its not like JC is oblivious to whats going on.

This is not a bash Cowherd thread, it is a self exam of us Skins fans. Yes/No. Do we think were a top organization, a few players away, almost a contender?
I think that you could argue that we're a lineman, true WR, and definite answer at QB away.

Quality QB play, shore up RT, and if Thomas/Kelly pan out, sure why not?
Crazier things have happened.
Damn you beat me to it. Kinda nice that 2 out of the 3 could already be on the roster.

Eddie Haskell maybe? Anyway, Cowterd is a douche and I stopped listening to this bonehead a couple of years ago.
