during the regular season, so a full blown rivalry could develop. I can't stand Ravens fans at all, and if the Skins played them every year in a meaningful game I could see myself almost hating them as much as the Cowboys. Too bad the NFL doesn't schedule annual inter-conference regular season "rivalry" games to take advantage of geography (Skins vs Ravens, Jets vs Giants, 49ers vs Raiders, Rams vs Chiefs, Steelers vs Eagles, etc)

i like the idea only because it would mean that dan snyder would have to play a better managed team, in his backyard. everytime they have a better season than we do, i am sure it infuriates snyder. i am all about the skins, but i question the FO more and more.
owner that knows about football = good owners
owners that have lots of money and zero knowledge of the game = dan snyder

If the NFL is adding games, I would love if one of the games was a regional interconference rival, and alternate home and away each season. It would require a little re-vamp for when we are supposed to play the other division (AFC North for us), but most teams have pretty natural regional rivals (NY obvious, Houston-Dallas, St.Louis-KC,SF-Oak etc. and some would be a little forced SD or Den vs Seattle). That would be great.

The problem is the Ravens are a better football team, have more talent, so we would probably lose most of the times we play, hurting our playoff chances.

F... B-More, it would give me more reasons to hate their fans more than I already do. They are not in our division so I don't give a SH** about who they are or what they are doing season in and season out. All it would be fueling is some sort of rivalry that the Ravens fans want, but most Skins fans could care less about.
As far as them being better than us. Not really, both teams have similar strengths and weaknesses. Both have a solid D and a decent running game, but the passing game can be hit or miss. It would be like watching a low scoring scrimmage every year...BOR-RING!
The idea just doesn't appeal to me. I would rather face Dallas 3 times than B-More once.

that would be nice...another game to get geared up for.
ravens fans seem to take it way more serious than we skins fans do..seems like every time i am anywhere near b-more and i'm, say, grocery shopping, somebody always has to come up and talk smack....they had their one superbowl - so i just smile and keep it moving...they hate us, while the majority of skins fans IMO don't seem to acknowledge them.

When the NFL realigns again someday, if the Skins find themselves in a 5 team division, I think that B-more logically and geographically belongs as the 5th team.

We already have badass rivalries...and ones we're holding our own on btw w/ Philly and Dallas. Philly is starting to scare me though guys. If the pickup a decent RB and WR for this season I'd put Philly at the top of the pyramid. (I think NY is going to be surprisingly mediocre to most onlookers and Dallas is going into a tailspin IMO)

Maybe when Ray Ray and Ed Reed are gone. Can't say that I would want to see them every year at this point in time.
