I heard Gibbs today on his radio show say that Ramsey is indeed starting Monday. He also said that he believes in Ramsey, and that they are working on Ramsey improving his "check downs". Gibbs sounded very positive about Ramseys situation.

So it looks like Daniels is out 2-4 weeks according to Redskins.Com. Do we bring back Upshaw?

Never know. But I would like to see Warner get some reps in there........he's shown some flashes.

That's sure not what I heard him say (Ramsey start). He clearly said that Brunell would start if he was ready, and he expects him to be ready. They asked how he would determine if he was ready, and he said if Brunell practices this weekend, he would consider him ready.

Also, there were three separate times he commented about the turnovers and bad decisions. Once or twice he said you just can't make those throws. I'm sure he will be working hard with Patrick this week. His only real harsh comment was for the bad call.

I was going more off of the radio show and reports I have heard. Not from the press conference if that is confusing anyone.

The way I understood it is that most likely, Patrick will be starting. The only way he won't is if Brunell practices this week without any issues from the injury, which is possible, but not probable.

Also, yeah, Samuels did not move early on that play.....I got the impression that there was a false start, but they called it on the wrong guy (maybe Dockery?)

Ramsey probably needs reps with the first team more than Brunell does, so with that in mind, does anyone else think that Gibbs' comments that Ramsey will probably be start might just be a ploy to trick Dallas and throw a wrench into their game plan?

I could see Ramsey taking the majority of the snaps with the first team during the week, then all of a sudden on Monday you see Brunell under center.

COuld be. But I doubt it. Further, I think the gameplan for the Dallas D is pretty much the same, whoever QBs: stack the run, force the throw, and wait for the mistake. That certainly worked for the Giants.
