Out of curiousity, what are the top 5 currently in your opinion?

1. Signing Jeff George
2. Signing DEION "!*%*&%$" SANDERS
3. Hiring Cerrato
4. Not firing Cerrato
5. Signing Randle EL to a sick amount of money...I could go on but I won't. It's too late for a rant.

I don't think Boldin goes anywhere. If this was the last year of his contract, then it is a strong possibility.

But he has 2 years remaining. And for a team to pry him away from the Cards, they would have to make an enormous offer.

The Cards say a 1st and a 3rd rounder. But that is where the bidding STARTS. It will take more than that to actually get the Cardinals to agree.

Then after 2 or more draft picks and maybe a player or two are dealt, the team that acquires him still has to sign Boldin to a contract. And he is looking for a big payday.

I think the price would be too steep for anyone.

I agree. The Cardinals can hold the flame to suitors. He's under contract with THEM for two more years so he can piss and moan all he wants but it wont get him too far. If he bucks, they'll fine the poop out of him and he'll eventually show up to training camp and play. If someone antes up, then they should get a 1st or 2nd rounder ideally. The longer the contract the higher the compensation...just like baseball. Nobody wants to pay a high price for a 6 month rental. If nothing else, a team trading for him this year would have him for two years if he didn't agree to a fat extension.

I think Boldin is good, but will excel when put in a similar situation he is in now: an elite receiver that can take attention off him. He is more of a possession guy. I see him as a lookdown guy who can act as almost a RB for short passes and screens. hmmmm... the Bills just got an extra #1 pick...

Would I give up Thomas and Kelly for Boldin? In a word, YES!

Here is why that deal would never get done. Vinny would have to be wearing a mask and carrying a gun to get the Cards to agree to it.

Here is why Danny Boy won't even propose the trade. He does not want to hear from a sorry-assed franchise that his two prized young receivers aren't worth taking in exchange for a disgruntled receiver who wants out of Arizona.

Offensive line!!!!!!! Offensive line!!!!!!! Offensive line!!!!!!!!! We do need Boldin for sure, but what we really need is let's say it in unison an OFFENSIVE LINE!!!!!!! Can't give up our top picks anymore. Our two top picks are the ones that will be the only ones to make the team anyway probably.

Anquan Bolden and Santana Moss are essentially the same type of reciever. Short pass= long run. The only real difference is the body type and the playmaking ability in the redzone. We would still need somebody to stretch the field and win "Jump Balls" much like Fitzgerald did for the Cards last season. I like Moss deep on occaision, but that is not his strength, though he can wheel a man up...quick.

Essentially what I am saying is that whether we have Moss, Bolden, or both we would still have a need for another reciever that is more of a typical deep threat/ jump ball kind of guy.

With that being said, I do not think that it would be a wise decision to proposition any type of trade for Anquan Bolden whether it be Moss and a first rounder, or a first and a third, or whatever. I like Boldin alot, but we would not be adding much more with him offensively and we have other needs that need to be addressed more than the recieving corps.

Well put from start to finish.
