Who is Joe Crisp?
Which of the Top 4 OT's will be the better pro in your opinionMTK 04-15-2009, 09:59 AM Who is Joe Crisp? SOUL-SKINS 04-15-2009, 10:19 AM Alot of people are saying if it wasn't for the amount of good OT's in this years draft Oher would be a top 5 pick SouperMeister 04-15-2009, 10:57 AM I believe Andre Smith has the highest ceiling, but he's also the greatest risk. I would be happy to get any of the four at #13. freddyg12 04-15-2009, 12:40 PM I honestly haven't gotten a chance to see all of them play. I watched Oher closely in their bowl game, and I must say that I was disappointed but only because of a few plays. He seemed to be late off the ball & the DE ran around him w/little resistance. That's been the knock on him though, not always focused. Otherwise, athletically he looks like a great one. From what I've read, I think A. Smith may be the best pick. The things he's lacking are coachable. I would think that Buges would love the challenge of coaching this guy into a star. freddyg12 04-15-2009, 12:43 PM correction to my previous post, I've seen Monroe a lot over the years, guess I took him for granted. He was always tough. Will have a solid pro career. ChickenMonkey 04-15-2009, 07:09 PM Jason Smith Andre Smith (this guy will surprise the He..out of everyone) Pro bowl in 2nd season Eugene Monroe Michael Oher SmootSmack 04-15-2009, 07:31 PM Who is Joe Crisp? Um...the 5th best OT? I think Michael Oher. I'd say Andre Smith except he's probably going to really make his mark in the league as a Guard. But I think Oher should be a no-brainer for us if he's there at 13. GridIron26 04-15-2009, 07:31 PM Good question!! I'm not sure myself but from what I have seen and read all information on the top 4 Ts.. It appears as if Oher and A. Smith could be in same breath with Odgen and Pace, which is not something that people advocate for J. Smith and Monroe to be in same category with Odgen and Pace.. But Oher and A. Smith are not guaranteed to be successful, compared to J. Smith and Monroe; however if they are successful then they would be in same category with Odgen and Pace.. Assuming that Oher and A. Smith would be successful: A. Smith Oher J. Smith Monroe 53Fan 04-15-2009, 07:57 PM Good question!! I'm not sure myself but from what I have seen and read all information on the top 4 Ts.. Smith are more NFL ready right now but A. Smith and Oher have more potential. But basing a player's future ability on potential also gives them more of a chance of being a bust. I like Oher but A. Smith's immaturity scares me a bit. I think they have more upside and like you say, if they're successful, I think they would turn out to be better players.
