Lotus 04-14-2009, 09:22 PM Games 2, 3, and 4 are against new regimes. That is good. Catching them early, before the players have time to "get" the new systems, should make for easier opponents. Week 8 is a good time for a bye, too. Beemnseven 04-14-2009, 09:29 PM Games 2, 3, and 4 are against new regimes. That is good. Interesting point, though we were a 'new regime' last year in terms of head coach, and started out 6-2. Schneed10 04-14-2009, 09:31 PM December is going to test our mettle. I always look for the mileage of the away games, and the two west coast opponents, Oakland and San Diego, happen in December. The San Diego game will test us, traveling 3000 miles across the country two days after New Years. We'll see if the players are on their game that day. In between those big treks are two tough home games against NYG and Dallas. I'd rather have them at home late in the season as opposed to away games, but still. Tough December. We're going to need to take advantage early and hold on for dear life. Zorn's got to show he can keep the team healthy and thriving all year. GMScud 04-14-2009, 09:35 PM Dude u can't trust GMscud...I wanted people to have the ability to verify :) Link there to all the other schedules too...I think the NFC East is pretty comparable schedule wise. Ouch. I copied/pasted it from NFL.com. saden1 04-14-2009, 09:37 PM That's a very nice schedule. Seems to me a trip to San Diego to celebrate the New Year is in order. Way too early to be making predictions, but that San Diego game looks ugly to me. Norval probably isn't through getting revenge against Lil' Danny. saden1 04-14-2009, 09:49 PM Way too early to be making predictions, but that San Diego game looks ugly to me. We're no chop liver on defense and with AH I can make the case for us winning that game. Admittedly everything is predicated on Zorn's development as a head coach and play caller. |
