Hopefully not another 6-2 start and 2-6 finish.

Let the gloom and doom begin!

Skind don't excell in "Primetime". Let's stay under the radar.

Giants, Cowboys, @Chargers are is a tough 3 game stretch to finish the year. Fortunately Giants and Cowboys are in FedEx.

As long as we take care of business against the times we should beat, this stretch should get us playoff ready.

It's a tough schedule. I think the entire NFC South is solid. Plus, look at the teams we play that stunk last year - KC, Detroit, St. Louis, Oakland - I think they'll all be a good bit better. @ Carolina and @ SD are two really tough non-division road games.

For the very first time since 2004, I can honestly say we don't appear to have a more difficult than average schedule. The NFC East isn't the behemoth it was last season, and while it's still strong, the AFC West is pathetic, not to mention our last place schedule provides us a two creampuff advantage that none of the other teams in the division have.

Last year 3-3 in the division was only good enough for last place. This year, it might be good enough to win it. The Redskins literally don't have to be much better at all to win the NFC East. They just have to find a way to not go backward in the next five months.

I'm looking forward to the Monday Nighter against Philly in Week 7. That game could be the measuring stick of the entire Zorn tenure.

The one thing I feel like nitpicking as a disadvantage is that we don't get to play the Cowboys until November. I really, really like our chances against them given our current rosters on paper. But after 10 games worth of injury, who knows? Could totally change our odds in that one.

The last time we played the Bucs in FedEx was Gibbs' first game back. It will be fun to play them in our house again.
