I am skeptical of this report by Clifton Brown. I don't see many of these guys widely rated as first round talents. However, I hope that it is true, because this will mean fewer teams taking OT's, DE's, and LB's.

Plausible. What would be a nice scenario for the Skins would be if someone (read Raiders) reaches on Heyward-Bey and his height/weight/speed and we see three WRs go in the top 12 (Crabtree, Heyward-Bey, Macklin). Seems unlikely, but would push a couple of extra players down to #13.

Good! As long as the other teams ahead of the Redskins leave us a much needed strong OT pick, I'm all for the WR's getting this attention.

I doubt it will happen but it would be good for us. The draft is a crazy thing.

My only concern would be teams getting burned and never making this mistake again. Reievers not named Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald are usually great ways to waste first round picks.

Well hopefully there's a little of Matt Millen in some of the teams ahead of us.

WR is one of the toughest, along w/qb, to transition from college. Also like qb, it's one of those positions that teams always seem willing to draft high. Maybe that's changing though.

Last year remember our very own D. Thomas was projected by many to go as high as 11 to Buffalo. Instead we got him in the 2nd round. Not a wr taken in the 1st. That class wasn't as highly rated as this one, but I still only see 3 1st rounders; Crab, Mac, & either Nicks or Heyward-Bey.

I like Nicks a lot, I think he's a tough player w/great hands. Hopefully, all of these guys will go in the 1st.

no way there's that much talent at WR in this draft
