Hey Guys,

On April 25th, I'm the best man at my friends wedding. Here's the issue, he needs his man card revoked for getting married on NFL draft day. Anyhow, I need a way to follow the action, since the draft starts late I doubt it will be a big deal to check my phone once in a while to check what's going on.

I have an iPhone -- what will be the best way to follow the NFL draft. I didn't see any apps that really do what I want. Basically I want updates when a trade happens or a player is picked. Any ideas?

Why not just use safari and stay on NFL.com?

Have a friend text you. It doesn't have to be every pick. He could send you 5 or 10 at at time.

Seems like espn, foxsports, and sportsline all will have constant web updates, and probably some sort of texting. I am signed up with Washington Post for Redskins texts, so I assume I will get texts on each Skins pick.

I'd gladly help...but unfortunately, I won't be able to follow the draft myself. Hot date! (bad timing).

Doesn't stop him from looking. The reason I dont want to slam refresh on my browser is I want to be able to glance at the screen quickly when I feel it buzz. Im thinking maybe I can find some sort of twitter feed/app to follow it -- still searching.

Hot date with my wife. I bought her a Valentine's Day gift for that day (day long cooking class). Didn't think to look at the actual date when I booked it
