Wow. That roster seems to be in a fairly significant state of upheaval. From what I hear the draft is pretty deep at receiver, so that second round pick has to be a wideout. While their secondary seems to be shotty, that front seven helps out quite a bit.
Never heard of Sensabaugh.
Sensabaugh actually had a pretty good year last year for the Jags. Though I rarely say good things about that team in Dallas, he was a good pickup for them to fill the shoes of Roy Williams the Safety. He has better cover skills than Williams.
You and SFREDSKINS have a nice love triangle with the Giants.
Are you kidding me? Braylon Edwards? Who dropped more passes than any other wideout in the AFC and the league (http://sports.iwon.com/nfl/stats/league/passesdropped.html)? You think that would be good move? I swear, you guys are slurping the Giants Kool Aid wayyyyy too much for a Redskins fan.
Seriously... swapping out Plax for Edwards is a win for the Skins.
If the Giants pull this deal off, then that would be a steal. Edwards dropped balls last year, don't expect that to happen this year. The Giants have made all the right moves during the off season and if they pull this deal off, then you might as well pencil them in for NFC champions barring injuries. No, I'm not a Giants lover.
He's had the dropsies his entire career going back to Michigan. His hands have never been his strong point. I wouldn't bet on that magically changing in NY.

Jeez I think the Browns are more schizo than our FO...I mean Quinn was supposed to be their guy, they traded up for him right? And Quinn didn't look horrible in his rookie year.
Mangenius must not be a fan.

I doubt that. Why then when the trade negotiations with Denver were at a fever pitch, would Zorn call Campbell into his office to reassure him that he was his guy? If Zorn wasn't sold on him, my guess is that meeting never would have taken place.
Its all about positioning / confidence. Why go behind the FO's back and tell Campbell he's his man too? If Campbell leaves town, it won't matter what Zorn said to him cause he could always pass it off as Snyderatto making a move he didn't approve of. But if the deal doesn't get done (which obviously happened) then he can say "see, I wanted to keep you...you're my guy" which gives Campbell a boost of confidence. They needed to help the kid in that area somehow. Say what you want about his head being on straight, no player wants to be talked about in trade rumors unless the player actually wants to leave town. These trade rumor probably got Campbell a little depressed, and Zorn did what any good coach would do, calm his fears down the best way he knew how. If they are going to be "stuck" with Campbell, best to make Campbell THINK he is wanted, rather than THINK he is unwanted.

That's right -- I forgot about him. Nevermind.
Forgot about him? That's the reason they aren't making a splash in the FA market, or trade for a top notch WR. They are expecting him to take over the role Owens left (of course without the side show).

Just being realistic and not wearing blinders.

I certainly agree to that. However, a lot here are dismissing Edwards way too fast. Yes, his drops were alarming last year (08), but he wasn't that bad in 07. Maybe a change in scenery and philosophy will do this kid justice. He has a lot of talent, and with the right preparation and coaching, he might be able to get rid of those drops. We'll have to wait and see. Either way you look at it, it's still a wise pick up for the Giants who had a gaping hole after Plax was released.

Browns should trade Edwards and 1st-round pick to Arizona for Boldin.
Both teams have WRs that they want to get rid of (or a WR that wants out), will have a hole at the position...it just makes sense.
Plus, it will prevent NJ or Philly from getting either one. :D
