The Browns seem intent on re-rebuilding.

It is always the same every single year at this time just before the draft. Teams will shop players to see what kind of draft compensation they can get. 9 times out of 10 though, deals don't get done.

Although I have heard over the last month or so that the Giants have been talking to Cleveland about Braylon Edwards a lot. Since Plax is gone they are looking for another premier target for Sheli.

Who are the two teams that are interested?

I thought I heard Vikings and Broncos, but I'm not positive

I tend to think JC is a much better QB the Quinn. Also where are all the Colt fans? If I were them I would be pissed that fans are wanting the team to look elswhere instead of seeing what he's got. lol. ....and what I mean by that is 4 preseason games does not make or break a QB.

I kinda get the feeling you guys have no faith in our QB coach. lol. Can he not develope QB's? Now your talking Edwards like you don't trust the WR coach. lol.

If that happens let Shanahan pick his guy.
I'd rather let Shanahan pick a guy to pick the guy, he needed a real GM about as bad as we did. If Shanahan could just coach and let a GM do his job maybe.

Anyways, what this could mean for us. Browns want a first for Quinn and Edwards huh? I don't know if that happens but Crabtree is meeting with the Browns sometime this week, fresh out of his walking boot. They say that the Browns are pretty interested in him. If they pick him up at (I think) the 5 spot in the draft that's one more position taken that's not a need of ours and could slide down someone like Raji or Oher one more spot. I guess they could also try to get Sanchez but I'm not sure that I see them doing that even with Quinn gone.

I'm here to represent!!! Colt should be given a shot! But I do have a soft spot for Quinn. I really like this kid, and I think he can be something special in the NFL someday. Unsure if coming to Washington is ideal for him though...we tend to have extremely short leashes, and shorter memories when it comes to our QB performances.
All that being said, why not let Campbell have another year? I thought he did fine last year. He had moments of greatness, and moments of regression. But still, are we ready to throw him away? I say no, give him 1 more year. Makes me wonder if the "QB Guru" in Zorn just doesn't like his team being run by Campbell for some reason. Why do we seem so willing to trade him away or find a replacement?

I doubt that. Why then when the trade negotiations with Denver were at a fever pitch, would Zorn call Campbell into his office to reassure him that he was his guy? If Zorn wasn't sold on him, my guess is that meeting never would have taken place.
