Who Should the Skins Draft If They Had the Lions' First Three Picks?53Fan 04-11-2009, 03:50 PM 1- Curry 2- Mack 3- Sidbury or Barwin That wouldn't break my heart either. Lotus 04-11-2009, 04:00 PM 1- Monroe 20 - Ayers 33 - Mack Dirtbag59 04-11-2009, 04:00 PM Crap, man I didn't read the thread title. All right lets see. If I felt Oher was going to be available at 20 1. Aaron Curry 1a. Michael Oher 2. Alex Mack 3. Lawrence Sidbury If I felt Rey was going to be available at 20 1. Jason Smith 1a. Rey Maualuga 2. Alex Mack 3. Sidbury mmil12 04-11-2009, 08:40 PM There's nothing new to talk about until the 14th when the new schedule comes out.(Unless the Redskins sign a free agent) Anyway, I was looking at the Detroit Lions 1st 3 picks. They have #1, #20, and #33. If the Skins had those 3 picks who would draft ? For me i'd say Jason Smith at #1 of course. We all know we need help at the OT position. The most likely good linebacker left from USC at #20 probably will be Clay Matthews. So i'd take him there. At #33 without question would be Alex Mack. After looking at this I can honestly say for the 1st time in my life i'm jealous of the Detroit Lions. I have to say...WHO CARES....WE DON'T EARTHQUAKE2689 04-11-2009, 10:36 PM I have to say...WHO CARES....WE DON'T Dude I have to say dont be a horse's ass, Don't speak for everyone here, and if you don't like the topic don't post in it. Lotus 04-12-2009, 12:15 AM I have to say...WHO CARES....WE DON'T I grant that in some ways this is a pointless conversation because we don't have Detroit's picks. However, it is April. Can't talk about last Sunday's game, can we? But we can engage in some harmless and fun football talk. In other words, if you don't like the thread, don't read it or post to it, and all problems are solved. I started this thread for the hell of it. I think we're all alittle bored. I knew when i was typing up this thread i'd get some shit for it like the two cool guys above. YOU DON'T HAVE TO POST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. WaldSkins 04-12-2009, 01:44 AM You know the first time I posted to this thread i read it as who should the Lions select. Anyway i change my picks to: 1a:Jason Smith 1b:Tyson Jackson 2:Clay Matthews 3:AQ Shipley NicknacK89 04-12-2009, 04:29 PM Question: What are the legitimate trade possibilities of the Redskins with the 13th pick? Lotus 04-12-2009, 04:45 PM Question: What are the legitimate trade possibilities of the Redskins with the 13th pick? It is possible that the Lions want to move from 20 to 13 and may offer a trade-down with their wealth of picks. The Dolphins at #25 also have a bunch of picks and might trade our Jason-Taylor-#2 back to us. The Pats at #23 have 4 picks in the first 60 and may want to deal although their usual MO is trade down, not up. The Cowboys, Giants, and Eagles are all blessed with many picks which they could package. Such a trade, however, would have to overcome the taboo regarding trading in the division. Almost anyone else could be a trade partner if they offer a current player or if we are willing to take picks next year. Edit: One problem with Redskins trade-up scenarios is that we have little to offer in terms of picks this year. To trade up we would have to offer a player or mortgage next year's draft (noooo!) |
