I say there's a 51% chance that Campbell is not here at the start of this season

There's a 100% chance you are wrong.

Lol who does he think will be the starting qb, certainly not Collins or Cult because he is to raw right now maybe next year for him. Besides if there was a chance they were leaning that way they would have cut Jason or traded him a long time ago. IMO i think we should wait and see what Jason does this year then if he bombs then put colt in there. I am sure there is a 80% chance lol that will happen.

The fact that Denver turned down our offer because they didn't like Campbell and Orton was the deal breaker says a little something. I think skins fans may over value Campbell a bit. He's a serviceable starter.

I like how people keep mentioning this, yet they forget that McDaniels turned down Cutler for Matt Cassell and (eventually) Kyle Orton.

Campbell had a 2-part interview on Comcast Sportsnite the last 2 days. He is definitely saying the "right" things, but his refusal to answer certain types of questions involving the FO, and his long-term status, seemed to make it clear that he was really hurt by it.

yeah, I caught a little of that & I saw it the same way. When asked about the possibility of a long term deal, he didn't answer directly, he just said that he wanted to go out & have a big season.

Maybe his agent has advised him not to say too much about being w/the Skins long-term, sending a message that he's shopping his client. I recall that the day the news broke Campbell said he wanted to be in DC. So, like you said, maybe he's hurt by it & is looking forward to getting out, and/or his agent is just telling him not to speak about anything beyond this year.

One thing that weighs in the Skins favor, Denver chose Orton over him. That's also part of how they were once again saved by another team. Last year it was Cincy, this year the Bears.

I didn't see one sentence in the article that stretched the truth or was even that negative towards Snyder. I think it is spot on.

I am more worried about someone who reads an unbiased account of a potentially disasterous trade and criticizes the author.

This team has not won a single division under Snyder's impatient watch and he proved this offseason that he learned nothing while Gibbs was here.

Thank God that we didn't make that trade. It is the best thing that happened to us in the offseason.

Actually, he owned the team in 1999 when they won the division. Then, he destroyed the team by getting a million over priced free agents, but still, they won the division in his first year as owner.

Good point.

But man won't that be something come negotiating time (if it gets to that) "What do you mean you want to get paid X amount? No one wanted you last year. Did you forget that?"

"Yeah well you traded like a bajillion first rounders to get me, didn't you"

Well everyone always Dogs the skins, so it's not a suprise.. As many of you guys know I wanted to trade Campbell for Cutler, honestly I think Jay Cutler is better especially in our west coast offense. But since Cutler is not a Skin, then we need to get ready for the future and Campbell as we all know has to have a Good season somewhere in the 20TD category and of course we need to win more than 8 games. Or else JC will be released after the season. This guy is just trying to start crap because even if we traded for Cutler the media would have dogged us! THEY ALL HATE SNYDER

We all complain so what's the big deal if people from the outside looking in do it? I mean it sucks that it's us but it's not like we've never been undeserving of it. Until we can prove for awhile that we're not running a circus here it's what we'll get.

I know he owned the team in 1999 but he had zero input on that roster so I give him credit for none of their sucess. What did he do in 2000 when he made his mark on the roster? He ruined it.

Are you sure about Denver turning down Cassel? That's what started this whole mess was McDaniels going after Cassel.
