The way I see it is that if you bought it and you lose it you can all ways re-download from a bit-torrent site guilt free.
MP3 prices going upsaden1 04-08-2009, 12:46 PM The way I see it is that if you bought it and you lose it you can all ways re-download from a bit-torrent site guilt free. tryfuhl 04-09-2009, 10:53 PM All the Applie groupies with iPods are still buying it seems. I'm not sure what it takes to piss these people off or if that's even possible. they're too apathetic to care, they overpay for macs, they probably think that the higher priced mp3s are that much better too.. FRPLG 04-10-2009, 12:19 AM I used to feel the same way but there's something pretty cool about being able to carry around my entire music collection in my pocket. Plus it's nice to have the extra space in my house that was previously cluttered up with hundreds of CD cases. Basically my thought. I can't live without my Ipod now. I even use a shuffle for exercising. The thing is the size of a matchbook and holds enough music for me to basically never repeat a song. How I ever exercised without it is beyond me now. At first I tried the arm strap thingie with my regular ipod but I found that to be a pain in the ass and kinda distracting. Bought the shuffle which I previously thought I would have no use for, now I can't go to the gym without it. Damn you Apple! Trample the Elderly 04-10-2009, 10:57 AM What's an MP3? Seriously, I've heard of them but I don't know what they are. Is it like a walk-man without the CD or tape that you can download music off the computer with? MTK 04-10-2009, 11:01 AM What's an MP3? Trample the Elderly 04-10-2009, 11:39 AM c'mon really? Yeah really. I don't have the time or the inclination to go out and buy the latest gadget or toy that comes out. I'm holding out for the everything system, you know the computer, phone, television, fax, pager, CD player, GPS, that's small enough to go anywhere and you can plug into a flat screen. Does the MP3 or iphone do that? saden1 04-10-2009, 11:46 AM This can't be. MTK 04-10-2009, 11:50 AM Yeah really. Does the MP3 or iphone do that? Sorry couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not. The ipod plays music but it also holds pictures/documents and you can play games and videos on it. It's just a mini hard drive with a screen. The iphone is closer to the everything device you're talking about. My computer went to poop last weekend but with my iPod I was still able to check email, read this site and any others, check the weather, sports score, etc. Now if you have the iPhone you can really do a lot. I don't think there is any way to plug it into an HDMI outlet on a TV yet, but I wouldn't be suprised if that was right around the corner. |
