Ok, so let's assume we take Smith/Oher at 13. Who would you hope falls to us in the 3rd round? It's too late to find a top DE or LB imo, but I see that as a prime spot to get one of the better Centers or Guards, someone who we could count on as a starter a year from now, after Buges has had a good while to scream obscenities at them in practice. We should be able to fill a need with this pick.
My hopeful 3rd rd picks would be:

Eric Wood, C, Louisville
6'3" 310lbs
Antoine Caldwell, C, 'Bama
6'3" 310
Either one of these guys would be an upgrade. Caldwell is more likely to actually be there in the 3rd. He is smart, a team leader, and if an O-lineman can start in the SEC for 4 years, that is almost like NFL experience. Also, if we took A. Smith in the 1st, the O-line would potentially be 3/5ths Crimson Tide!

Craig Urbik, OG, Wisconsin
6'5" 328
Herman Johnson, OG, LSU
6'7" 364
Urbik has 'Hog' written all over him, but Herman The House would be an interesting project for Bugel. Again, no O-lineman from small schools, a la Chad Rinehart. Nothing personal, but I want to see how these guys fared going against the kind of size and speed they will see in the pros. SEC, Big 10, Big 12, that is where to find O-lineman.

Would love to go with a Center, but conventional wisdom has us taking an OLB like Ohio States Marcus Freeman.

Either position would be cool, but olb is a seriuos need. I hope someone like Clint stintim, Olb from UVA, falls to the 3rd. He's projected as a 2nd rounder, but there are always good players that fall back due to teams picking on need.

Center & guard are still big needs too though. I see this pick as best o line or OLB available.

It happens every year it seems like.

I still like the idea of Sanchez going to the Jags at #8 overall then other teams wanting to trade up to get in position to take Freeman from KSU. We are in a good place for a team thats looking for a trade partner. I doubt Freeman makes it all the way to the Bucs at 18.

it is possible that all 3 qb's are gone before 13.

I would love for this to happen because it means we would have another guard to choose from. I can see the Broncos taking Sanchez at twelve but not Freeman. If Sanchez isn't there i could see the Broncos waiting for next year when Clausen,Tebow,Bradford,Snead, and McCoy will be available.

Yeah, I agree with WaldSkins. Freeman will fall a bit. 20-27ish range I bet.

Tyrone McKenzie would also be a nice pickup in the third. National Football League: NFL Draft 2009 - Tyrone McKenzie (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/tyrone-mckenzie?id=80729). Kyle Moore is another guy I like these days National Football League: NFL Draft 2009 - Kyle Moore (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/kyle-moore?id=71403#profiles-tabs:players-analysis). Either way I hope the report of the Skins being in love with Ayers isn't true unless they get a good enough trade down where they can walk away with Ayers and an OT preferably my newest man crush Eben Britton. Still with the way Vinny was talking about Smith I would suspect that he's ranked as high as 2 on the overall draft board. Aaron Curry's probably number 1 with Crabtree as high as 3.

I would take Sintum in a heartbeat if he fell to the 3rd, but he's a high second rounder.
