I have a saying. The more you spread yourself thin the more things you end up sucking at.

Just kidding, I actually like the idea of using him as an end. God knows he's not going to get much time at DT.

You kind of have a point though. We love players that play more than one position, but the problem is sometimes we force that on them vs them having that ability for us. Seems sometimes we think that if the position is the same or similar nothing else matters. Turning one type of RB into another, QB, LB, S, OL, DL, etc

I think this sounds like they're giving up on Wilson as a DE...he ain't put on the weight to be a legit DE and has been in the league for 3 years already. They need an OLB, so they're just rolling the dice...if it doesn't work out, i think he'll get shown the door.

Or is this maybe an omen that we're drafting Ayers at #13? I like that idea better!!

Linebacking takes more than the ability to pass rush.
for Wilson to be a good cross over, He would have to
be able to zone protect and man up on fullbacks and TE's.
Maybe if the Skins ran a 3-4 it would work, but in the 4-3
linebackers have too many responsiblilties to be taken so lightly.

Doc is interviewing him now on espn 980 in DC. He is moving to LB. I believe he said strong side. he apparently has played LB in HS, College. According to him, he approached Blache about it and is happy with the plan..........
