Ha, that'd be something if the Broncos got Rogers (while still having Champ)
Guess it would explain why the Redskins are supposedly having private workouts with several DBs (other than Vontae Davis and Jeff Allen, I can't remember the rest).

Shit, unlike Campbell, Rogers will complain about this. Great. BTW, shouldn't Florio be gloating about all of this? Did he go to sleep?
Believe it or not after seeing him on NFL Network the guy actually seems pretty modest. He even took jabs at his website for being frequently wrong so he can't be all that bad.

Cutler is from Tennesee. Hopefully they will get it done. That can be their payback for us getting Haynesworth.
If that's what it takes I will begrudgingly take that payback. We deserve it. Oh ye vengeful football gods please see fit to hand down your Haynesworth stealing justice in the form of us not getting Cutler.

The difference is this time around our potential trade partner is hell bent on trading the player in question. At least 3 of these guys went back to business as usual after there flirtation with our front office.
True, but I don't think we're the best choice for Denver. And the argument is that when Danny wants something, he'll get it. Honestly, we got lucky that that the Bengals FO was just as incompetent with Chad Johnson.

Also I got to think that the FO doesn't think they will be able to resign Rodgers after 2009.

I agree with your post but there have been situations where the team didn't get a player they wanted to trade for:
- Lance Briggs
- Dre Bly
- Chad Johnson
- Anquan Boldin
CJ doesn't count because the Bengals saved us from ourselves by not accepting any possible trades.
Anquan also wasn't on the trading block.

ProFootballTalk.com - Cutler: “I Was Surprised They Decided To Trade Me This Soon” (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/01/cutler-i-was-surprised-they-decided-to-trade-me-this-soon/)
So, uh, as I suspected like two weeks ago, Cutler was bluffing on the anger part. He fully expected to play for Denver next year.
So now, he's getting screwed over by the Broncos. Isn't this just the player we want?

Now we're throwing in Rogers. He finally played well last year and now we're shipping him out. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I wonder what Jim Zorn is thinking right about now? Maybe something like this:

Maybe we can trade CP back to them and grab Beanie at 13.
