The whole drinking thing with Culter sounds a bit like someone trying to stir up a smear campaign. There's a pic of him at a wedding or something doing a shot, big deal.
I dunno, I'm coming around to the idea of bringing in Cutler. Hey why not, trade JC and toss in a pick for next year and we're SB bound.

One of the funny things about this whole deal is if it happens we will still have a QB that a segment of our fan base would hate! We're a miserable bunch, lol!

He's not going to be my beer pong partner. I would however like him to consider throwing touchdowns for us.

This is really killing me. I don't know much about the drinking claim, and there really isn't a way to prove it. The picture doesn't show him doing a keg stand right, so that is all that really matters.
Again as some have been saying, Cutler IMO is not that good. Our schedule seemed much harder than the Broncos. NFC East in general is much more competitive, and I feel if Campbell was in the AFC West he would dominate. His numbers as others pointed out weren't amazing either, but yes he threw TDs.

Winning a SB is really the only cure. It isn't exclusive to the Skins, any team that has a QB that hasn't won the SB has fans that don't like the guy. Only person I think really didn't fit that mold was Peyton before his ring.

Alright Matty !!
I'm glad to hear you say it. I'm all for Cutler myself. What the hell, it's not like we've been winning lately.....something has to give.

Not sure if that last sentence is sarcastic or not, but regardless it's an interesting topic. There isn't anything wrong with selling the future (ie draft picks or free agent signings that bog down the cap) in order to make an immediate big splash. But a team needs to be an elite team trying to find the missing piece if they are to do that. '00 was a good example of that; the Skins made their big free agent moves (Smith, Deion, Carrier, etc) and improved their defense from 30th in the league to 2nd in the league. They had the 2nd best offense the previous year (behind only the Rams). In other words, the off-season for which Snyder is most commonly criticized was actually an effective off-season that would have worked had the Skins offense not been decimated by injuries. I'm digressing though. The point is that a team can get significantly better with a few strong moves. But at what cost?
I'm against the Cutler trade because I don't think the Skins are quite there yet. The defense is statistically good, but it doesn't force turnovers and isn't dominant. The receivers are far too much of a question mark and the o-line is old. The offensive schemed was less effective with every game last year.
I think it's an interesting discussion though.

It's called sarcasm.

Worst case; he winds up in Tampa. Or with the Vikings. Just be nice if he stayed in the AFC
