I think it was Merrill Hodge who said if Haynesworth decided to play DE, he'd automatically become the best DE in the NFL. If Blache is smart he'll move him around a little.

AND nobody on the roster who gives us anything at DE other than AC and maybe Daniels IF he is healthy. It's not like Big Al wouldn't be effective there. SmootSmack 04-15-2009, 10:59 PM who? I don't know. I don't think they'll trade up for an OL, but Orakpo? Maybe Maybin? If Blache is smart he'll move him around a little. Been thinking the same thing bro...part of the reason I think DE is a reach for us @ 13. I mean if Monty plays up to his potential (hoping Al has something to do w/ that) we're already better in the interior...kick Al out to LDE and let him collapse the pocket in about half a second cuz now way a TE/OT double team will stop him. SmootSmack 04-15-2009, 11:00 PM Yeah, and don't forget that in 2005, Len Pasquarelli broke the news a day or so before the draft that we were trading away our 2006 first rounder to Denver to get Jason Campbell. I guess they keep the windows and doors open in our draft war room. True, but last year at this time I think JLC had us taking Phillip Merling, Kiper had us taking Talib, and Mayock had us taking Sweed. T.O.Killa 04-15-2009, 11:09 PM True, but last year at this time I think JLC had us taking Phillip Merling, Kiper had us taking Talib, and Mayock had us taking Sweed. I respect Maycock's opinion the most. At least he war right about us taking a WR. 53Fan 04-15-2009, 11:11 PM Montgomery has the size and talent to be a very good DT. Maybe AH will rub off on him a little. Raji and AH? OMG. Can you imagine? 53Fan 04-15-2009, 11:13 PM True, but last year at this time I think JLC had us taking Phillip Merling, Kiper had us taking Talib, and Mayock had us taking Sweed. I would imagine figuring out who the Redskins pick is not an easy task for anyone. :) mrreddman 04-15-2009, 11:18 PM Yeah Raji and AH!! Just remember the skins were interested in Raji a lot before they signed AH. It would not surprise me at all if he slides to us if we take him. Our line would turn from a weakness into a dominating DL and we need a big physical line in the EAST for Jacobs and Barber. |
