you could make this complaint about some other games in the past but definitely not this one. heh didnt you see Arrington's uncalled facemask on the jumbotron? 80,000 fans, the viewing public and the refs certainly did...

Wrong Wrong Wrong!!!
Tom White and his crew are across the board the best we can get.

First of all, let me agree that the refs are not what cost us this game.

However, you are dead wrong about Tom White & his crew - they're downright some of the worst refs in the league - these were the guys that botched the Baltimore Seattle game last year (screwed up the clock adjustment that led to overtime) and were fined a game's pay.

Closer to home, these were the same guys that almost cost us the game versus the Patriots last year - remember that one? We had to run out the clock, the offense was called for false starts, and on a 3rd and 32, Ramsey hit Coles for an unbelievable catch, but they ruled it an incompletion and we had to sweat it out while the Pats drove deep into our redzone (fortunately, Iffy batted down a Brady pass on 4th down to seal a 20-17 win).

I stand corrected on this. But I would prefer to have White versus Triplette. My bad, but the game was fair and the Skins just flat out lossed

I think the officiating was alright yesterday, with one exception:
Portis catches a TD pass, falls down along with a defender, gets up, doesn't "dance" or anything, he just spikes the ball and runs back to the sideline. BUT because the defender happened to still be on the ground next to where the ball was spiked, it is a taunting penalty!?!?!? COME ON!!! Isn't this football? These rules were made to stop overzealous celebrations, but I'm sorry, players have been spiking the ball after a TD for as long as people have been playing football. Geeezzz...
I know this isn't something that would have won the game for us, but it did look like a very bad call.
The only other ones were the missed facemask calls on Lavar and to Ramsey, which basically evened each other out.
