Redskins on Path to the Draft FridayNflnick11 03-26-2009, 08:46 PM Tune into path to the draft friday at 6:30 to see larry michael tell NFL network who the redskins should pick, and hear the analysts say who we should get.(we already know he wants maualuga) NM Redskin 03-26-2009, 08:51 PM Thanks for the heads up. Monkeydad 03-27-2009, 09:44 AM Thanks...been wondering when they'd be featured. Daseal 03-27-2009, 05:25 PM Kinda off topic, but Pat Kirwan had us taking Tyson Chandler DE LSU, anyone know much about him? SmootSmack 03-27-2009, 05:31 PM Kinda off topic, but Pat Kirwan had us taking Tyson Chandler DE LSU, anyone know much about him? He'd be a great fit for us. A young Wynn/Daniels. Just the type of guy we need (maybe not at 13 though). He's moving up draft boards, late first/early second to mid first. He may be around when we pick and I think if that's the case, the Redskins are likely to look to trade down so that some teams that expected to pick up TC later in the first round can move up and get him. So, while I think we should draft him, I think the first thing we'll do is try to trade him. I missed that too CRedskinsRule 03-27-2009, 05:37 PM But Chandler's never played less then 35 games in a season, and has 4000+ pts in his career, our offense would be da bomb!!! 70Chip 03-27-2009, 05:41 PM But Chandler's never played less then 35 games in a season, and has 4000+ pts in his career, our offense would be da bomb!!! And his middle name is Cleotis. Try and beat that. GTripp0012 03-27-2009, 05:51 PM McShay speculates that if Stafford doesn't get taken with the first pick, Andre Smith will go in the top ten, and then we'll end up with Robert Ayers at 13. Outside of the fact that I'm not sure we'd even look for Ayers if we traded down in the first round, and aren't looking for a DE with questionable production who can't be an OLB in our scheme, I'm just not seeing the giant ripple effect this would cause, especially considering that he STILL has two QBs going inside the top ten. 1. Detroit Lions -- Jason Smith, OT, Baylor 2. St. Louis Rams -- Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech 3. Kansas City Chiefs -- Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest 4. Seattle Seahawks -- Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia 5. Cleveland Browns -- Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas 6. Cincinnati Bengals -- Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia 7. Oakland Raiders -- B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College 8. Jacksonville Jaguars -- Mark Sanchez, QB, USC 9. Green Bay Packers -- Aaron Maybin, DE/OLB, Penn State 10. San Francisco 49ers -- Andre Smith, OT, Alabama We'd still have to pass on Oher and, like, Tyson Jackson and Everette Brown and Alex Mack and all three USC LBs here to reach for Ayers, but in a world where NO QUARTERBACK GOES IN THE TOP THREE PICKS, absolute insanity ensues apparently. |
