Seriously. We should start a thread that involves twisting every subject imaginable into something political. That way we could have a waste basket for this kind of stuff. Sort of like the Toxic Asset Plan. It could be a "Bad Bank" thread if you will. :)

haha, I 2nd motion. Shall we send it on to committee?

Season isn't over yet, but it shows we have some lazy bastards for our WR corp. We want to nail these AIG guys for taking ungodly large retension bonuses for running it(AIG) into the ground and not too many folks bitch about these guys making ridiculous amounts for playing a game most of us played for hours just for fun as kids. You would at least expect maximum effort to try and win and get in shape, etc. What pisses me off is that our guys really do need to get serious ASAP if they do want to win. It isn't like they are all pros. The attitude alone tells me we will have another subpar effort

WTF are you talking about Gus?

Here' the thing Thomas needs to get with. In college, football is about 20 hours a week of work. The rest of the time is school and hanging out with the boys (and the girls). To be succesfull in the NFL, it is a 60 hour a week proposition at minimum. I think some guys prefer to stay in 20 hour mode which gets you what we got last season. The fact that they could live pretty well for the foreseeable future on 0 hrs a week of work, only makes the problem worse.

Of course the real problem is the union.

Thomas has already stated that he came into camp in better shape than usual last year but he found out it wasn't good enough. He's been working with the trainers and JC this offseason.

Still having side effects from that head injury I see, Gus.
