Understand that I'm talking about selecting Laurinaitis if Oher, Smith (both of them), Monroe, Maualuga (though that might be a toss-up), Curry, and Jackson are all gone
I give you the first 12 picks, Give me your Redskins draft pick!SmootSmack 03-16-2009, 11:32 PM Understand that I'm talking about selecting Laurinaitis if Oher, Smith (both of them), Monroe, Maualuga (though that might be a toss-up), Curry, and Jackson are all gone BigHairedAristocrat 03-16-2009, 11:36 PM Mark Sanchez, and no i'm not joking... ok, maybe just a little. Rey Rey... if GTripp switched things around and had him going before we selct, then Alex Mack. That Guy 03-16-2009, 11:46 PM see, at that point, there's nobody at 13 that wouldn't be there (for us) at 25-30. do you take davis? a qb? nah... moreno? maybe, but that's a waste.. i mean, the draft board at that point is basically mack, lauranitis, heyward-bay, and matthews, but taking any of them at 13 would be a stretch. 30gut 03-17-2009, 12:00 AM *NO TRADE DOWNS! MAKE A PICK!* 1) Jason Smith 2) Eugene Monroe 3) Aaron Curry 4) Michael Oher 5) Brian Orakpo 6) Andre Smith 7) Jeremy Maclin 8) Michael Crabtree 9) Tyson Jackson 10) Everette Brown 11) Rey Maualuga 12) BJ Raji Matthew Stafford Although i don't think we need a QB how could we pass up Stafford? He would be the highest rated player available by far We could trade him for picks/ essentially trading down GMScud 03-17-2009, 12:00 AM Mack would be great for us, but he's a HUGE stretch at 13. I haven't seen a single mock draft with him going in the 1st round. The Goat 03-17-2009, 12:10 AM Mack would be great for us, but he's a HUGE stretch at 13. I haven't seen a single mock draft with him going in the 1st round. I saw an early draft board that had him going at the bottom of the 1st round... can't remember right now whether it was SI, ESPN, or NFL. Anywho, i totally agree w/ you GM. It's also impractical cuz I doubt the FO will cut Rabach and put all their eggs in the Mack basket... Mack probably wouldn't even start for a while. So basically it saves us no money this year and means center eats up two full roster spots for the year... oh yeah we don't get a franchise LB either :( Trample the Elderly 03-17-2009, 12:14 AM Alex Mack, Hands down. I don't care where he's projected. ChickenMonkey 03-17-2009, 12:15 AM [quote=GTripp0012;537391]You only have to answer in one word if you wish, but if you prefer the long winded dramatic explanation, I know how you feel. *NO TRADE DOWNS! MAKE A PICK!* 1) Jason Smith 2) Eugene Monroe 3) Aaron Curry 4) Michael Oher 5) Brian Orakpo 6) Andre Smith 7) Jeremy Maclin 8) Michael Crabtree 9) Tyson Jackson 10) Everette Brown 11) Rey Maualuga 12) BJ Raji #13 OLB Larry English....Absolute stud!!! 53Fan 03-17-2009, 12:15 AM Mack would be great for us, but he's a HUGE stretch at 13. I haven't seen a single mock draft with him going in the 1st round. I've seen him picked at 20 by Detroit, they need line help, at 22 by Minnesota, good replacement for Matt Birk, and 32 by Pittsburgh, they know the value of a great center. This is a great thread. Most fun I've had on here in a while. Definitely better than all the FO bashing. :) GTripp0012 03-17-2009, 12:22 AM Mack would be great for us, but he's a HUGE stretch at 13. I haven't seen a single mock draft with him going in the 1st round.Well, there's this moron (http://mvn.com/outsider/2009/03/nfl-outsider-mock-draft-mid-march-mock-madness-1st-round.html). His top 12 looks really similar to this thread. Huh. ;) |
